With my wife on a family cruise (Nope I’m not ready for a ship full of people), I invited a couple from church to have St Patrick’s Day lunch with me. Just celebrated their seventy ninth (79!!!) anniversary. Both use walkers and neither drive so we’re like “adopted kids”.

Very nice diner restaurant. My food was good. Pretty decent sized portions, but a little expensive for what you get. Their hours have been scaled back and they are closing at 2:30 now. My biscuit and gravy was a little cold, slightly warmer than room temp, but I’m going to give it another chance earlier in the day as we were there right before close. I was also charged for extra cheese, but I’m not sure why…I didn’t order anything with extra cheese at all. It was only $1 so didn’t complain but it’s definitely strange. Overall a solid restaurant and my server was nice and fast. I’m going to give the place another try and hopefully update the review in a more positive way as I really want to love this place.

This is the first time that I have visited Eve’s family restaurant. Overall I believe the food was edible. Shelly are waitress was fast efficient and either needs help or a raise cuz she really was on the ball. Even though I got the meat lovers omelet it did come with a nice variety of sides but because of my dietary needs I chose the sliced tomatoes and no bread but it does come with your choice of toast or biscuit and other sides.

We had to edit our rating from 5 stars to 2. The food is consistently good and so is the service, however we have found hair in our food 3 times over a 2 month period. The first time was not a big deal……. after all these things happen. The second time we took a little break because my fiance was really groosed out. Now after the third time she won’t go back. Too bad we really liked the food but they clearly don’t wear hats or hair nets and it is a problem .

My first time here. Very happy with the service, friendly staff, menu choices and especially the pricing. I was also glad they serve late breakfast past 11:00a.m. Out of 11 Breakfast specials, I had the #4: One egg, bacon or ham and toast and I was able to add green peppers, onions and tomato. Upon entering, I noticed the variety of seating options in such a small place and was pleased to learn they have a long, classic cafe-style counter for single person diners. No waiting or standing, it is seat yourself here. I highly recommend this place and definitely would like to come back for breakfast again and will try lunch sometime as well as the menu items were numerous. I love having choices.

Ordered the French toast special, It includes one egg, bacon and 2 slices of French toast. It came out no more than a minute later, made me think maybe I got someonelses mistake. French toast under cooked, bacon tasted like it was deep fried and the scrambled egg was swimming in grease,,, terrible !!!
