Fishmonger always has fresh seafood and one of my favorite places to go for their Happy Hour Oysters and delicious fresh cocktails. If you want non alcoholic drinks they have several selection. My favorite is their delicious fresh made cherry limeade.

Still dreaming about the catfish sandwich! First time there I was a little confused on the table and ordering situation but the hostess explained everything and gave us recommendations. All of the seafood was VERY fresh! Can get a little pricey as everything is a la carte. Can’t wait to return to try other food items !

I feel like I’m in an 80s movie here. It’s a very retro feel. The ambiance is very nice and lowkey. It’s a little pricey but worth it. The food is amazing and service was quick. My bf and I went on a Friday night and sat at the outside bar. The bartender was friendly and efficient.

Might just have had a close to perfect experience here! We arrived early for the oyster happy hour. They were fresh, mild and the mignonette was on point. Next, the scallop crudo was fabulous! With melon, mango and the chile powder the combo was so tasty and delightful. The grouper sandwich and the Caesar salad were the perfect way to finish the meal. Word to the wise, arrive early. Line for ordering can get long!

Had a great birthday dinner here. I love the inside seating, excellent food and casual/laid back atmosphere.

We dined in at the location on Rogers Street (Kirkwork community). The food was excellent! I had the gumbo, which was one of the specials for that specific day, and the blackened grouper sandwich. That sandwich was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was fast, courteous and the food was fresh and hot! I really enjoyed Josh, our bartender, and his cocktails were superb. The appearance of this restaurant gives you a loft feel and the vibe was friendly and engaging. There is plenty of parking and the parking was free. I will visit again soon.

We booked a table for my daughter’s birthday party last weekend. We were unaware that the seating is mostly outside so when we arrived we were a little disappointed. However, Caleb was absolutely fabulous in how he adjusted and made our night spectacular!

My favorite thing about this place was the environment! The patio is super cute and lowkey. The customer service was decent. I didn’t love the food. My friend and I got the ceviche for our appetizer, and it was okay, but lacked freshness and flavor. I had the hot fish sandwich and brown butter potatoes for my entree. The catfish was very crispy, fresh and seasoned well, but I didn’t care for the abundance of mint and lack of sauce on the sandwich. The potatoes were overpriced, lacked flavor and undercooked. My friend had the gulf shrimp roll and pasta salads. The shrimp roll was overpowered by mayo and dill. The pasta salad was just okay. Overall, I was disappointed with Fishmonger, unfortunately.

As a first-time patron tonight, I left this restaurant with mixed affect. After some consternation in trying to pinpoint Fishmonger and Pullman’s side-by-side parking situation, I eventually located the restaurant. Parking was both free and bountiful! Menus were quickly circulated yet customers are expected to place their orders inside the establishment. This triggered confusion in which the line between customer service and tipping got blurred. Thus, at Fishmonger, who serves who! The food selection and prices were reasonable, yet some food items were lackluster. Gumbo, for example, properly served, is a stew. But at Fishmonger’s it’s a soup, sans chicken, and unreasonably spicy. Most members of our party, regrettably, waved the fiery broth aside, unfinished. Other food items were delicious. So, altogether, tonight’s dining experience turned into a risky hit-and-miss fiasco. Too bad given I’m unlikely to return to Fishmonger nor recommend the eatery to others.

BAM *spices* Fishmonger knows where the spice aisle is and makes great use of it. All their dishes hit you with an array of flavors that, while distinct, mesh well together. They also know what herbs are and utilize them. Too often seafood restaurants bank on salt and maybe some old bay for ‘flavor’. The ceviche was some of the best I’ve had. The blackened grouper sandwich gets a 10/10. There is a full service bar and whatever you call it when there is a case of oysters on ice in front of you. Oyster bar, possibly. I’m cultured…
