The peking duck was to die for and the service was top notch. Under the sample pictures on the menu was the quip “the food does not appear the same as above, but once eaten will prevail!”- and their dishes did nothing less!

They were very busy when I went to pick up my order but they got my order in a timely fashion, were friendly (even got a 2023 wall calendar), and double checked my order. The food was great! Great price and food with lunch special available 7 days a week. I had so much kung pao chicken I had to take half home. Love the hot and sour soup that came with the special. I am Chinese and born in Hong Kong. Since I know how to make my own Chinese food, I seldom go out to eat Chinese, unless it was a social gathering event with friends, like today. My friend had really strict dietary restrictions and was surprised her dish had onions. The server offered to remake her dish, even though it wasn’t their fault.

I’ve been here a lot and the first few times it was good but then I came one day and I got what I usually like and it was burnt.. like very burnt, inedible. so figured it was a mishap, didn’t make a fuss just couldn’t eat about half of it. I went again last night and this time when I ordered the Sesame Beef they for some reason used the sauce for the Sesame Chicken? Well anyways I was very upset but considering I lived so far I just ate it anyways. About 2 hours later I’m feeling sick.. I end up falling asleep and wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. Don’t know what they did or what happened but will not be returning.

I’ve been a customer for the past 7 years. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid (at least 25 years – probably longer). He has also lived in China and this is the only place in Tucson where he will go for Chinese food. We usually order delivery at least once a month. We have loved this place because the food is AMAZING and the portions are large. Lately the prices have gone up, which is understandable because prices everywhere are going up. We ordered delivery last night and were so disappointed- the portions were way smaller and the food was really bland compared to every dish I’ve ever had in the past 7 years. I hope this is a one-time experience. It was so disappointed, something I’ve never experienced from Old Peking in the 7 years I’ve been enjoying their food.

The beef was left over from another day, not fresh at all, actually was bad, but recommended by owner. Spicy beef barely find beef. It is not fresh, expensive. One of the worst restaurant I have even been. btw, owner / manager won’t refund you anything. If you want to get poisoning, might give a try, otherwise stay away. They are rude too.
