Worth the drive to come south from I-40 for a good BBQ sandwich and some decent brisket for this side of the Mississippi. Should my travels bring me this way again, I would stop for round 2. Our hostess, Charity, came over and checked on us. Told us the owner and cook is from California and that explains the good brisket.

I have traveled all over the south trying BBQ…Travelers BBQ ranks in the top 3 in my opinion. BBQ was tender,nice smoky flavor. And I got to taste his brisket…unbelievable!!! So good. Great prices too. If you want really good BBQ, stop at TRAVELERS BBQ HWY 22 LEXINGTON
