Loved the service. Such a friendly waitress. I always know I’m in a good spot when traveling when the waitress knows the locals coming in by name. The food was priced well & wasn’t bad. Good thick oatmeal. Fresh coffee. The steak was just okay but everything was was pretty good. A BIG PLUS…. Clean restrooms…. A place I’d go back to upon my travels for sure.

My family loves Penelope’s biscuits and gravy. They are the best around. The right amount of sausage in the gravy. Their pancakes are huge and fluffy. The bacon is delicious, too. I’ve yet to have lunch there, but I’m sure it would be good also. The servers are always friendly. Penelope’s is very busy in the mornings, so come early.

We had the fried mushroom, fried pickles, and the ultimate loaded fries appetizers. We did the Greek combo, Philly steak sandwich, and meat lovers pizza. The food was excellent and the service great. Did not even notice when they refilled my water. Very good.

If you want to have the best dessert of your life seriously come here nothing anywhere comes close it’s homemade by the owner and your doing your self a disservice by not a slice the only downside is you need to give a three day notice to special order a whole cake/pie

Confort food at it’s best! Welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices. Ordered the oatmeal with blueberries. Yum! Picture really doesn’t do it justice. My son ordered the special for the day (country fried steak w biscuits and gravy). Both of us were super happy with our meals.

Diners like these are my absolute favorite eating establishments. This just happened to be a bad one. The server didn’t fill our drink a single time I had to flag down a server for a different table. Not one person had a smile on their face. The food tasted chemically (if that makes any sense.)

We were kindly greeted and promptly seated. We placed our order and were served quickly. Food was very good and hot. That was the last we seen our waitress until she brought our check after waiting a bit. She never checked in for refills. Once she brought the check we asked for a coffee to go.

Ham and Cheese omelet was great. The service was good. My toast was not toasted but bread with margerine on it. My hash browns had pieces of raw potato in them. Now with that being said, the atmosphere was great and just what I was looking for. It’s a small town diner with a family restaurant feel. I was not charged for my meal. Overall, I liked this place and will be back next time I pass through.
