Fantastic gem of a place with a chef/owner making you your food. Uses an array of ingredients to pair with different dishes. This isnt like eating from a chain place. Great care and knowledge has gone into the cuisine. One taste and you know that you will be coming back. Restaurant has great decor as well, a place that I will take my wife. To boot the owner has a picture of himself next to Anne Burrell, nuff said. Do yourself a solid and try this food. Milesburg is lucky to have this place!

Happy Dishes is one of my go-to restaurants. I love their fried fish — the coating is so crisp and flavorful, among the best I’ve had in my life! Tender, delicious brussel sprouts (I don’t usually like them). Beyond-imagining desserts, and beautiful atmosphere. Mike, the owner-chef, is so friendly and helpful, getting special cupcakes at the last minute for a friend’s birthday celebration.

We had the BBQ pulled pork, garden salad, lobster macaroni and lobster roll all presented beautifully! It all tasted fantastic. Great little place with a nice atmosphere, nice sized portions, and welcoming staff. We will go again and try other dishes since we had a hard time deciding!!

Stopped here while travelling west based on the positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Very inviting with lovely decor. Fried shrimp po boy and brisket tacos were highlights, but very good chicken fingers, mac and cheese also. My son raved about the burger and fries as well.

Great ambiance. I’m a Penn State Alumni and was so happy to find a restaurant near by the serves soul food. Everything was tasty and the owner came out to greet us in the end. The atmosphere was great and even though it was quite busy the staff were attentive, the food was great, and I recommend trying it if your headed to happy valley, it took us less then ten minutes from down town state college. Will go back when I return.
