This environment is conveniently located to a couple of apartment complexes. The smoked chicken is decent, the sides are okay. This is a place of convenience with decent BBQ and somewhat friendly staff. They never have the beef ribs or brisket despite what the menu says so don’t depend on that being a meal option.

Great customer service and it was very clean throughout the place. The meat was very good and it was very tender. However, the collard greens and baked beans were just average. Lastly, the food wasn’t really hot.

I love the brewery next door, but not a super fan of this BBQ. I actually go out of my way to eat elsewhere and come to the brewery after. Ordered the BBQ plate, which looks like the photos accompanying this reviews. Sides are collard greens and Mac n cheese. The collard greens are ok. The mac n cheese, which is a “premium” side, is truly abysmal. Honestly the worst mac n cheese I have ever tried. There is almost no cheese, and the pasta is over cooked (and completely the wrong shape for this type of serving). It was served very sloppily – touching the metal trays which probably do not get washed after every customer (even if they do, food is not supposed to directly touch them).

Grand Champion BBQ is a welcomed business in our community! The food is great and the ribs, pulled pork and brisket are outstanding. They’re connected to Reformation brewery so you can grab a bite to eat and a beer along the Chattahoochee!

As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was off and the workers were very rude. I peeped to look at what was being served on the bar and the worker gave me a nasty look. So yeah we turned around and didn’t place an order.

I really want to love it, but cleanliness and attitude prevent this from being a 5 star review. The guy that’s usually there doesn’t care to address my girlfriend at all When we are the first to show up, they dislike us for interrupting their break. When I ate my food inside, a roach crawled onto my plate. I guess you’ll be fine to dine in as long as you don’t take more than 45 minutes. Or a roach may appear.
