I had my bridal shower at the Housatonic House this past June. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. We had the most beautiful room with floor to ceiling glass windows to see the beautiful view of the water. We had room for everything we wanted to do such as have a large prize table, table for party favors, and table for gifts and cake. Everyone that we came in contact with from booking to planning to executing the day was WONDERFUL. They were always so pleasant and accommodating. At the end of the shower, the owner himself carried boxes and boxes of decorations and supplies out to our cars on an 85 degree day. He was absolutely the kindest gentleman. All of the servers were incredibly kind and attentive as well. Ris was so wonderful to us as well as our family and friends. We all had such a great time at the Housatonic House. They made my bridal shower incredibly special, and we are forever grateful.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE, VIEW, and AMBIANCE!!! I’m from florida and just moved down here and this reminded me of the beautiful florida coast bars and restaurants! The owner is consistently checking up to make sure you have everything you need. The servers are superb and provide all the right info and care you need to feel special! The food was delectable and I’m so excited to make this my go to restaurant. The drinks were so pretty and delicious!! I came here in early April, so I can’t even imagine how much more fun it is during the summer when they open the outdoor side up. See the photos for the view!!!

I have been here multiple times and everything that I have eaten and drank is absolutely phenomenal. The waitresses waiters and bartenders are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are good. The wings are Amazing and the Oysters are to die for.

Last week we had gone to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, our waitress was very sweet and personable and her service was amazing. Thank you. Food and drinks were delicious as always. We just attended the fireworks Saturday night and the wait staff was working like a finely tuned machine. They hustled for 6 hours straight. Food was timely, quick and delicious. Atmosphere for the fireworks couldn’t have been any better. Nicely done Mike and your team. We had a fantastic night.

Very nice atmosphere! They played different styles of music, alittle country, rock and modern. Service and food was wonderful. It was a nice drive since were central. The owner even took a picture of me with his family.

a beautiful restaurant right on the water in Derby. I came to hangout for a work party. I had a plate of mussels with tomato sauce it was heaven I cleared the plate. the service was on point. will be back.

Friendly service. Nice views on the river. Great food and plenty of parking. Will definitely go back. They had a couple of events going on and I thought it would be a great place for a birthday celebration or even a communion party etc. Prices are reasonable and great menu. Highly recommend!
