My family of 3 tried to dine here on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 during the lunch rush. When we entered the restaurant, there was a group of 4 in front of us and the restaurant was packed. None of the 4 Waffle House employees working at the time greeted us. After a few minutes, this group went to sit down at 2 sets of clean 2-person tables that were next to each other. My husband found an empty 4-person table that still needed to be bussed. As we were standing next to the table waiting for the table to be cleaned, the waitress did not acknowledge us at all. She continued to serve the surrounding tables all around us. When my husband politely asked for the table to be bussed. The waitress completely ignored my husband. The second time my husband asked, the waitress rudely said, “There’s only two of us [waitresses] here, I’ll get there!” We overheard the 2nd waitress say to the first waitress, “your money is still on that table.” Only then did the first waitress come over to start cleaning our table. She grabbed her tip and picked up some of the dirty dishes and left again. After a few minutes of tending to some other tables, she came back and continued to clear the table. My 3 year old daughter was sitting on the bench at this dirty table as the waitress was cleaning. This waitress clearly did not want to serve us and rudely said to us, “I don’t want to hit you, can you please move!” During this entire time, we were not welcomed and treated rudely. They clearly did not want our business and we did not want to give them our business. We left without ordering. We will NEVER come back and DO NOT recommend coming here. This was our first experience at a Waffle House and we were extremely disappointed.

The staff is Lazy people who don’t want to work. Just got off of work and wanted to call ahead so I could just pick up my order and go home. No answers and I’d understand if it were busy but when I arrived to place my order in person there was no customers and nothing going on. Just a lazy staff and rude atmosphere.

Dirty, terrible, service , and luke warm hashbrowns, and my grilled cheese….well yes the bread was toasted and they did slap on two slices of cheese but the cheese wasn’t melted and sandwich not hot. I’ll be very desperate before visiting this place ever !!!

Service was horrible, the waitress had a nasty attitude. We had to wait over 20 minutes to get a drink order. After an hour we finally got our food even though we were here first other people that got here after us got their food first. We were definitely being discriminated because we are Hispanic.

March 28, 2019 Dilmonta aka Dil or Dell made supper for me. The patty melt is cooked to perfection, not over or under. The Texas toast is excellent. Hash browns, plain, are cooked, there are no raw that I have tasted. I am very pleased and wanted to acknowledge him for a a job well done.

I visited this Waffle House on 10/02/2022 @ 1:53 am. The men servers/cooks were kind and exemplified great customer service. The woman who was working at the time was rude. She did not have good customer service. I heard her state her dissatisfaction for having to check me out when asked. Also, her demeanor towards me was very unwelcoming. As an establishment that is nationwide, I would think that all employees would be welcoming, especially since I came into the establishment with a positive attitude. I hope this employee receives training on customer service.

I have eaten at waffle houses from covington Ga all the way to Lake charles with a few good ones, but this location in Sulphur is by far the best. Although my neighbor Randz is the manager, it has nothing to do with the review. He has a great crew, and the food is amazing by far the best waffle house I have eaten at ever. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the food was amazing, and Randz has done an impeccable job bringing the standards back to the service and food. Waffle House and Sulphur are lucky to have gotten someone who takes pride in his staff and service. Also want to say that our waitress went above and beyond to make sure our meal was the best and her service was great, my family is wanting to make this a weekly place to go eat.
