My second visit to Sherkaan, and definitely not the last. I came here once and dined inside. This time we got a table outside. Service was superb, our server was patient, informative and funny. Recommending both drinks and dishes.

Very unique flavors! I loved this modern twist to traditional Indian dishes. The food was super authentic and the presentation was beautiful. The whole resturant had a modern yet rustic feel. I was especially impressed with the drinks! Next time I come I will be ordering the same!!

Beautiful place, unique food selection. It should go without saying, but if you are sensitive to spices or spicy food in general, this may be difficult for you. The chai tea was phenomenal.

Cute and cozy restaurant tucked in a side alley. With patio and very unique decorated resturant. I love how they had collection of bicycles hanging from the ceiling as a lighting fixture.

The food was amazing. Very authentic flavors, creative menu, beautiful presentation and attention to detail. The experience was very upscale for mid-level prices. Highly recommend the salmon tandoori and keema dosa. The desi chai had an oatmilk option and came with parle g biscuits which was a nice touch.

I thoroughly enjoy dining at this establishment in New Haven for its Indian cuisine. While it has consistently remained my favorite spot, I believe there are opportunities for further refinement to achieve an even more authentic taste. For instance, the dum Biryani fell short of my expectations; the rice lacked moisture and failed to incorporate the delicate blend of spices. Moreover, the Chicken Naan resembled more of a pizza flavor profile.
