Love this new location on Winchester. Just discovered the Tropical Smoothie Cafe a month ago and we are already huge fans. So far the Bahama Mama and the Beach Bum are my favorite smoothies. The Smoothies are 24 ounces. Tonight we tried a Caribbean Jerk wrap and the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. Both were delicious and the Jerk sandwich was a generous portion. It’s a new location so it is very clean and well staffed.

This being a new location I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I’ve been here 3 times since opening. Every time I wait over 20 minutes in the drive though for one or two drinks. That’s it. I love the store being near my house, it’s clean, and staff friendly. But I doubt I’ll come often because of the wait. There is no reason at all that customers should have to wait that long for their orders. I came inside on my 3rd visit and still has to wait way longer than I think needed. Over 15 minutes on one drink, just one nothing else. And that’s after waiting some time in the drive through, giving up, then coming inside. I came and asked for a grilled cheese just today, with just avocado. Well they charged me full sandwich which is ok but they only put just a taste of avocado… not even a thick layer. The guy who gave me the sandwich was laughing so hard saying enjoy! I didn’t know why he was so happy till I opened the sandwich. I thought that was messed up. They could have put more than what they did on that bread. They do that on purpose and thought it was hilarious. I won’t be back. Ain’t worth it.

Love the smoothies and the inside is super cute and fun.! Customer service is okay. I feel if they would turn the music down, I could actually hear the workers and they could hear me. I ordered a food item off the menu and because I said one thing and not another, he just assumed he knew what I meant and gave me what he wanted to give me instead of asking “did you mean….?” Other than the one incident , everything else was fine.

There are a lot of people coming from Northen VA. Although we love the southern laid back feel of the south, people in food service have to speed up a little. I think they are wonderful but speed up in fast food service. So glad the restaurant is here. Great food!

Just opened! Super excited! Been a long-time fan of this chain. I love the smoothies, but the food is good too. I recommend downloading the app and ordering ahead if you are short on time. They make everything to order, so there is some wait time.

Girl at the window snatched the cash out of my boyfriends hands and then shut the window as he tried to give her the change. My smoothie also wasn’t the best. I love going to tropical smoothie and I always get the paradise point but this time it was absolutely nasty. Very slow drive thru. All in all not the best experience I’ve had.

Every time I order food or a smoothie it is waiting on me when I arrive. Everyone complaining about the wait is referring to opening week when the entire city was lined up on the street. They get your order ready extremely quick. Today, I ordered my food and immediately received it when I arrived. It took 10 minutes or less from the moment I ordered online. A local student, Colson Lamb, works there and always makes sure I get served when I walk in the door.

Every time I have been to this location the wait in the drive thru never fails to be at least 15 minutes. I left after waiting in line for 20 minutes with two cars ahead of me, and i’ve seen many people do the same. The one time I did decide to wait, it took over 20 minutes of waiting in line for one smoothie.
