This place is hit & miss I’m convinced it’s in business mostly because there’s not many more food options in the area. Sometimes the food is burnt. We recently ordered take away and they forgot our sides and put a roast beef sandwich on a hamburger bun. It was just thrown on there. We called and received confirmation that they shouldn’t have done that. There is one waitress who is clearly a miserable person. We avoid her section like the plague she always looks like she’s about to punch someone.

We stayed here because the rooms in Dubuque were over $250 + tax. We eat here and it was our best meal so far on our trip. Wife had Liver and I had Meatloaf. I could not eat all of this Senior meal. Wife managed to finish all. If your willing to skip Dubuque I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a perfect brunch stop for us on the way through Manchester! We love finding the locals favorite places & this was a WINNER! The staff was amazing too!! We highly recommend the Supreme Skillet & Omelet!!!

Hometown cafe. Good size portion. Our particular waitress was unprofessional and lack luster while others appeared helpful and cheerful. A single busboy was constantly busy and seemed like the only waitstaff on the floor that had hardworking mentality. Gave him a well-deserved tip just for his happy-hardworking mentality.

Hometown diner with spacious seating.Had a huge menu and all day breakfast. Delicious cheese curds for appetizer-nice and crisp. Chicken and rice soup also before meal. Had the patty melt on marble rye. Was cooked perfectly. Fries were also crispy and tasty. Server was polite. Overall was a great meal for not much money. Great value. Highly recommend.

Very old and dingy inside. The table tops are old and cracked. The booth seats are bouncy and U sink in them bc they’re so old and out of shape. Our salt and pepper shakers didn’t match and were sticky with gooey grime. My son got a cheeseburger. It had a gloop of American cheese in the middle that was half melted. His Hamburger was some kind of perfectly formed thick Patty of mystery meat. My chicken sandwich had a piece of what looked like boiled chicken in it. It was completely devoid of ANY color. It was extremely tough. My son’s fries were absolutely excellent however. My beef barley soup…that’s another story. It wasn’t broth based like NORMAL beef barley soup. It was creamy…and so incredibly thick. I’m swearing that I could’ve had my spoon stand straight up to God in the middle of the bowl of soup…it was that thick. And it had a very forward tomato flavor to it, plus added vegetables.. tomatoes were among them. Our pop was good. Coke products. However…our glasses for our pop have definitely seen their better days. Mine had a chip out of it along the rim. My son’s looked dirty along the top visible portion. It wasn’t, it was just scratched, knocked and cloudy from age. I’d definitely never go back there ever again. But our waitress was exceptionally nice and polite.

On entry this place looks like it’s a no frills eatery but don’t let that fool you, we had great food here, excellent & polite service, plus a very tasty & reasonably priced meal. It ain’t the ritz but who cares with a steak meal that nice.

Food was good and service was ok…it had a vibe like you were visiting mom’s house and that one cousin was there she never liked…so she was happy to have you there but pissed about something the whole time.
