A friend and I were passing through and looking for something quick to eat but not fast-food. A retro diner style pizza/sub shop? Perfect. Upon arriving it was very quaint, clean and had a very cool small town vibe. Cashier was super friendly and prices were on the low side. Halfway through eating Raul (Ra-ool) came from around back and greeted us. I highly recommend anybody passing through to stop by just to meet Raul. This guy could put sunshine on the darkest night. He immigrated from Mexico 30 years ago and is one of the proudest Americans I’ve ever met. He talked about cars, guns, politics, cops, trouble, mishaps, food, community, and America and we stayed an extra 20 minutes just to hang out and joke around with him. It’s this kind of conjecture that solidifies the Diner environment… that makes you happy to return… and that makes happy in general. If you are a proud American, respect small business, and love your community you should visit this place.

We ordered delivery, and it was the first meal we were having in our new home, after moving here from the other side of Pennsylvania. When the delivery was taking much longer than expected, I called, and was told the order had just shown up in their system. So, I know to just call the order in next time.

Fun retro little pizza shop. Staff was friendly. I ordered a BLT and my son had 2 slices of pizza. I will definitely use Johnny’s for delivery in the future now that I’ve been here.

Never dined in so my atmosphere rating is based on the friendly staff.. food is excellent and it is one of the few places that delivers in New Oxford. My family absolutely loves the pizza and my oldest son and I love the pizza steak..

Always great service and food!! We ordered from there for dinner today and my chicken cheesesteak sub was so full, I had meat falling out! The bread was so fresh! I recommend the tomato pie pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. I’ll always be a loyal customer of Johnny’s Pizza! Thank you to the staff!!

ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE! Being from Jersey I have found it hard to find the type of pizza I’m used to as well as hoagies. This is the only place in town that makes a Jersey pie, and so far that I have found that uses soft rolls for their hoagies. Everyone else around here uses pizza dough rolls and they’re so heavy and thick. I love the fluffy rolls with the nice crust and they pack the hoagies with meat. The fries are crispy and good. If you’re an east coaster and looking for shore style pies and all check out Johnny’s.
