I’m not from Cornelius but I was in between my appointments and figured I’d stop to grab lunch at Hungry Howies. I had spoke to who I believe was the GM of the restaurant, her name was Queen! She was super friendly and welcoming. First time here so she gave me options from the menu that she suggested. I went with the 3 Cheeser with Cajun and ranch season per request. Let’s just say I had an amazing experience and the food was bomb! Thank you so much, Queen, for making my brief stop in Cornelius one to remember for all of Hungry Howies restaurants!

Pizza was decent, we had the garlic crust junior size pepperoni and they weren’t too bad! It’s not an eat in restaurant, more order ahead or take and go. They do have a couple of outdoor tables with umbrellas to eat at. I’d go again. Would’ve been 5 stars if the guy at the counter had any personality, not even a smile?

First time visit. There is no inside seating so we got it to go. Very, very good. We ordered a large 1/2 meat 1/2 veggie on thin crust and the wife got a salad.

I asked for extra tomatoes on a veggie pizza. I got zero. The pizza was not fully cooked. The crust was doughy still and the peppers were not even warm. Barely any sauce.

Had a coupon for freebies but manager wasn’t there. Still got junior pizzas for cheap and they were perfect! Great flavor, nice fluffy crunchy crust, very pleased! Just wish they had a few indoor tables to dine in.

This hungry howies has some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced! Being a nursing student occasionally means late nights where I don’t have time to cook and me and my husband loving coming here. The pizza is always on time, fresh, and perfect. We had a few issues, and the manager quickly acted to solve them, coming from an ex customer service employee I can tell you the manager, Queen, genuinely cares about her customers. Simply because she was so quick to fix our issue, we will never stop coming here! Thank you, Queen!
