Tea Time With Tina
This place is way more than just a soup kitchen. The staff here are always kind, respectful and generous. You can tell they are there to make a difference in people’s lives. The meals they serve are healthy, generously portioned and taste good. The weekly food pantry is well organized with plenty to choose from – and the entire building is clean. I just got a turkey to make on Thanksgiving and they provided the sides as well, more stuff than I needed or was expecting. I also signed up for Christmas gifts for my kids. I’ve been consistently impressed with the way their staff treats the guests like family – that alone has helped me stay hopeful through tough times. Thank you to everyone who makes St. Vincent De Paul a possibility, there’s days my family could not have gotten by without you guys.
