Excellent Everything! I was just there today for the 1st time. It’s a Tuesday about 3pm and there was about 5 other patrons. Service was excellent. The server came by many times to make sure I didn’t need anything and asked how my food was. I asked if the shrimp broil was spicy and she requested the chef go light on the spice and that helped. She explained menu items perfectly and said that the kids burger was half the size of an adult portion, but that adult burger must be huge because the kids burger was bigger than the ones at McDonald’s. My kid requested I cut it in 4 sections.

Just stop by for a drink because my partner wanted to see it since he hadn’t been in decades when it was another bar back in college. We didn’t try any of the food so i can’t comment on that. We sat at the bar hoping to have some convo. It took a while for the bartender to give us attention even though it wasn’t busy but once she warmed up, she was awesome and we got to hear a bunch of stories about the town and ECU compared to when my boyfriend was her age. Drinks were good. The specials were fun. This is a spot I would go back to on future visits which I can’t say for some other spots nearby.

The overall impression on the first visit was great! The first observation was the ability to reserve a table online in advance which our party of three took full advantage of. The hostess was very attentive when we walked in, and was quick to also acknowledge the reservation made online for a party of three. We were seated literally when the next table opened up. My son I will add, who attends ECU lives on campus which allowed us to come into town, park near his dorm, and casually walk over to the restaurant which was barely 5 minutes. The consensus all around was to try the Po Boy sandwiches and pork grinds which we did. The fried shrimp AND the cajun cheesesteak Po Boy sandwiches were tops! Get the pork grinds to with the cheese dipping sauce with a cocktail and you’ll be happy with the recommendation. Keep up the great work, and special shout out to our server Courtney who was tops in her upbeat personality and attentiveness throughout the meal

The food was very good and came in large portions! The 1 pound shrimp boil was enough for 2 people. Definitely well seasoned (jambalaya is hot in a good way). We enjoyed our time there. There was definitely effort and love put into making the food! High quality for sure!!!

Clean and quaint near campus spot. Service is top notch. The food is well platted and yummy. Slightly on the pricey side so make sure the parents pick up the tab..this ain’t for the college kids 🙂

Stephanie was AMAZING!! She tended to every need and checked in on us when we needed. Even when the kitchen took a little while to get out two plates, she made sure we were taken care of. She even ran outside to give my brother his sunglasses after we were done! The food was delicious and service was fabulous

Good, honest pub grub. Nothing fancy. Both the service and the food were better than expected. We received our dinners quickly, and accurately. Prices are quite reasonable. The menu has a slight Cajun theme. It’s more Cajun wannabee. The atmosphere is that of a nicer college bar and grill. The beer selection is above average for this type of venue. My wife and I left happy and satisfied. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The good reviews are FAKE. The food here is TRASH. My po-boy tasted freezer burnt & when i asked for something else I heard the manager chastising the waitress. The female manager/bartender must get off on treating her staff like trash. I find it interesting all the black waiters/waitresses seem to dissappear. I used to love this place but its gone DOWNHILL. Visited for my cousins graduation & I WONT BE BACK
