They offer some great BBQ. The sweet potato fries are amazing. The ribs were very meaty; they won’t skimp on portions. They are also pet friendly and even gave us a water bowl for the pups.

Wow. This was a great surprise. Was watching a band at the Alley next door and decided to try Fuel. The BBQ was perfectly cooked- had the chicken and brisket so I can’t speak to the other meats. The sides were also great. Perfect coleslaw (I’m really picky about that), fried okra, collards- all was excellent. I ended up eating there again 2 days later and it was just as good. Highly recommended. Prices are good- well worth what youpay.

We used to love coming to Fuel but today’s visit will definitely be our last. We watched as the cashier struggled with a large to-go order from a couple in front of us, which is fine, except we watched him assist those two for over 15 minutes as a large line formed behind us. There was a worker in the back just watching us all wait there for 20 minutes, then he finally put on gloves and decided to do his job.

This is a pretty good little BBQ spot. There was decent flavor and the meat was tender. But I do have to assume they use a pellet grill because there was not much smoke flavor. They also keep the food that they serve you in stainless steel warming containers with lids. So there’s quite a bunch of moisture as you can imagine. I will say the sides and service were wonderful. But if you’re looking for authentic bbq, smoke flavor, you might want to go to 4Rivers. The cornbread and mac and cheese were great!

Decided to try this place and was not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was offered samples of things to help decide what to order. I got the burnt ends, cole slaw and corn bread, my fiance ordered the pulled chicken and smoked mac & cheese. All the food and sauces are made from scratch on site. You even get free refills on fountain drinks. I definitely recommend.
