It was a great breakfast spot! Happened to be very busy when we were there and waited about 35 min. However, the staff were great and hard working so makes up for that. Definitely reminds me of a diner from a movie. Something about diners like these feel cozy and close to home.

Armando’s cheeseburger skillet/scramble is THE Best! It’s the perfect bite – hash browns on the bottom, the egg scramble with the deliciously seasoned hamburger meat and topped/loaded with cheddar cheese! I don’t eat toast bc the main is so good, but the white is so good. Hence 2 pieces of toast instead of 4. Will eat for days, take home only indicates I now stop eating when I am not hungry anymore, nothing more.

My husband took me to Douglas house (dog house!) For a drink… When they went to college this was one of the places they liked to go. They make a great jolly rancher! It was delicious, but stop at one! They also make the yummiest little pasties! Great place to stop in and check out!

It was delicious and the service was great!! Very kind wait staff. I got the whitefish sandwich. It was loaded with tarter sauce, which I love. I always have to add more. We ordered take out so we could eat outside with my dog.

The whip cream in the hot cocoa was the best I’ve ever had! The biscuits and gravy was not very good. If you like a spicy chili they have that. The salads are huge as well!

Typical Midwest diner, but a bit on the low side. I give them credit for a cheeseburger omelet, but there is almost nothing original about this place. Service is good. Hard to screw up breakfast though.
