This is some of the worse Jamaican food I have ever had. The curry chicken was pink and uncooked and no flavor at all. The Rice n Peas was so salty it was also inedible. Complete waste of money.

Im always skeptical of ordering from restaurants that have very large menus because they never seem to master one particular dish. I ordered on Grub Hub. Order came in a timely fashion. Unfortunately their plating sizes do not match up to their pricing. The small dish pictured is a $17.00 large order of oxtails. It comes in a small container. Gravy is good but the meat is chewy. Mac & cheese consistency is great but it is flavorless. Rice and beans aren’t too bad a little hard but not terrible. I feel as though I’m eating leftovers.

I ordered here in error and reached out to the restaurant for them to lie to me about not being able to cancel my order. I must mention I reached out to DoorDash and when they contacted the restaurant so that I could be issued a refund, they proceeded to informing them that my order is completed. $50 gone, fast forward to me contacting the restaurant again to get yelled at by the owner because robbing a customer matters more than the integrity of the establishment.

This is a small place in east orange. The owner is amazing and her food is an experience: I usually get the fish with Mac and Cheese. Will recommend if you are in the area. You should call. Takes a while for food to be ready but is worth the wait. Get for soul food lovers!

Bravo’s cafe is a rare gem! I’ve had the pleasure of ordering from this restaurant twice and was more than happy both times. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and very delicious. Smaller restaurants like these don’t get the credit they deserve. Thank you very much to the chefs. Please visit you wont be disappointed.

I ordered oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage and side order of fries. There were 3 peas in the rice, the oxtail and cabbage were fair and the fries were undercooked, mostly white.

The cornbread was good, they sliced it down the middle and put butter yum! I had the oxtail, rice and peas with plantains. Not the worst oxtail, more of a stew flavor was decent, rice pretty okay and I normally don’t like rice. The plantains was trash. Had a side of Mac an cheese it wasn’t the worst. My fiancé ordered stew chicken, he said it was dry with no flavor and the yams were good.

The the food was very good. I used door dash and its always on time, hot and ready to eat. I only ordered ox tails and nothing else. I was recommend to eat this during a event in NY. I was hooked ever since. The worst experience I had here was burnt cornbread (its not called that but its what it looks like) and there was too much fat on the ox tails. One time, some of the drink leaked a little but nothing crazy. The homemade tea is powerful. Very strong but difficult to drink by itself since its overpowering. Still taste great. (so strong though- I go, UGH! Then take another sip.) its best coupled with the food you buy there. Not a bad experience despite only buying one thing.

Mac & cheese was old & dried out wasn’t freshly made…has some about a wk ago from the 1st visit it was banging so I thought I’ll get some more & the 2nd time around wasn’t good at all. Oxtail was delicious the cabbage wasn’t the 2nd time around. The fish good, the fried chicken 2 crusty, 2 much dough crust.
