Came in at 6:00pm specifically for the AYCE riblets, only to be told they were out. Now that is truly disappointing. I’m writing as I go through the meal…. so I’ll keep updating. My strawberry lemonade looks NOTHING like the menu. It is actually warm and taste wasted down …. yep… warm, with a few pieces of ice on the top. My wife and son ordered the 2 for 25 and ended up ordering the rib plate. They got the onion rings as an appetizer…. they came out hard enough to be lethal weapons. Our server (Teresa) took care of it for us though, and had a fresh batch of non- lethal ones sent out. Okay… so the meal came out…. the garlic butter chicken- no color, no real flavor…. rack of ribs-TOUGH… enough said about that…. chicken fingers- can’t really mess those up. French fries were the best part of the meal. And our server was great! Really have some work to do here…. won’t come back.

Our drinks came out fast. Hubby’s salad came out in a timely manner. We had to wait 45 mins for our entree. No one clear the dishes after hubby finished the salad or advise that the entrees will take longer than usual. Part of the salad was bad it was black & gross. I got the salad as an entree & had some bad leaves it was black & gross. The manager came out and advise us our food will be right out after hubby complained & advise it’s been 40 minutes we been waiting. We probably won’t go there after the service we had. Our soup bowl looked like it was spilled or something because there were soup all over the sides.

The bartender “Lisa m” was slower than any server or bartender that I’ve ever experienced in my 38 years on earth. If that wasn’t horrible enough on its own the kitchen took 40 minutes to make me boneless wings $15 for some sad pathetic little boneless wings, what a rip off. I also ordered the quesadilla burger and my big question is why even ask me how I want that cooked when it’s going to come back well done? I ended up asking for a manager I waited 25 minutes still no manager I decided to take my check and go. 3.25$ for a soda water she couldn’t refill so sad. I tipped her 35% because I’m assuming she doesn’t get many other people tipping her.

*EDITTED after talking to general manager as he tried to make it right* Our food took over 50 min to get (there were only 2 of us). Waitress kept apologizing, but from other reviews, it appears this lack of prompt and accurate service is a consistent problem. Then, we ordered raw onions for the steak and fried onions came out after waiting another 10 min. Also, fries with steak came out cold (yes, after an hour), the 3 “extra” shrimp that were included for the long wait were clearly a different color (see attached picture). The waitress then quickly plopped the check down behind us without saying anything and without even eye contact and quickly ran for the hills. We were there an hour and 20 min total and left completely dis-satisfied. The general manager was very nice and tried to make it up to us. At least the live music was nice, but we still left hungry.

Food was amazing. Burger was perfect, fries were simple and great. Kinda slow cook time, especially for only having 3 tables, but that’s a price I’m happy to pay for fresh food instead of fast food. $2 mai tai, and for national hamburger day, got out of there for $35 with a free brownie after doing a survey. Overall, will absolutely go back.

We were welcomed with 2 friendly hostess, seated promptly. Waitress/server was friendly and patient. Appetizer and food was Hot and delicious. No complaints. Steak was juicy and flavorful, fully loaded potatoes hot and great serving size, broccoli cheesy like I like. Will for sure return.

I wasn’t with the Ewa Beach Applebee’s. This restaurant in Ka Makana Alii did not disappoint. The food is good, the service was excellent, and the layout is live. The location at Ka Makana Alii is convenient for those on the west side. It is easy to get to and plenty of parking.
