I was here visiting for a few days and wanted to try something different that I can’t get where I live . I did a google search and came across this place . The restaurant was clean and the girl that took my order was friendly and also the lady that cooked the food was too . I got back to my room and went to eat my food ( it smelled good ) . To my disappointment my chicken was so burnt and dried out , my Mac and cheese was not cheesy at all , yams were ok . Also I ordered jerk chicken not burnt grilled wings . My chicken wasn’t cooked in jerk sauce like other Jamaican restaurants that I’m used to . The sauce was on the side for me to use as a dip . I will not return when I’m back in the city .

I normally enjoy my meal. That’s why I keep coming back. Because of that, I won’t rate this establishment the way I feel today. One piece of advice, when you pull sub par product off the grill, please don’t ruin anyone’s meal by putting that in a box and serving it to them. Customers return because they expect a certain quality. Giving them subpar product, and acting like it’s supposed to be ok, disrespects that loyalty. There is a difference between blackened and burned.

Food was delicious! I had the jerk chicken and jerk chicken wrap. I’m Jamaican and I’ve never had a jerk wrap before! I’m hooked now. Cabbage was delicious! I’m waiting to try their oxtails. It seems they only make them on certain days.

I been here on numerous occasions. Tried chicken dinners with Mac and cheese, cabbage, yams. Chicken and shrimp rice bowl. Everything is good and very tasty. The chicken Alfredo is the bomb! I love this place! My only complaint is, they need to include bread with there dinner. Keke from Glenwood

I found this place after coming to the Wax Center and was like, “I need to try it.” I am so glad I did. I am totally not disappointed in my choice. I only wish they did Doordash or Uber Eats, so when I’m working, I could just order my food. The food has never been disappointed, and I have been here three times, including today, because this is where I am having lunch.

Too often, when a business does good, it goes unnoticed. I had my event catered. They delivered on time and the food was an absolute hit. Thank you!

I had the Jerk Talapia lunch special. The Talapia was a 6. It was fried and I prefer jerk anything to be grilled or baked. The rice and cabbage were strong 9’s. The mac&cheese was a lackluster 3. I’m going to give them another shot because customer service was a solid 9.
