Fabulous location by the water and great outdoor seating. Happy hour is decent but no vegetarian taco options! Although you can bring your dog along sometimes (depending on who you are or what your skin color is they will make you sit at the far end in the blazing sun so that your tiny dog who’s in a leash will not disrupt service – although for others their large digs and a party of two are allowed to sit in the shade -right in the middle of the courtyard). Unlike other dog friendly restaurants they provide no water to the dogs. The service is horribly slow given that we were there on a regular Tuesday and it wasn’t crowded at all. Took 15 minutes to get beer, another 30 to get the enchiladas which they mistook for a burger order and another 15 to get other second beer! Takes a long time to even get the check. Needless to say they add 20% gratuity to all checks (knowing how poor the service is I doubt anyone would agree to that voluntarily)

If you’re looking for someplace nice close to the water that offers a great casual atmosphere Bayside Cantina is the place. While they offer a pretty decent food selection in terms of variety (tacos, fajitas, etc) the food is nothing particularly special and there’s many other places in Baltimore you can get better. However the abundance of outdoor seating and the views of the water make this a special place. The wait staff is very friendly and the outside bar/bartenders are extremely fun.

Came her for lunch on a Saturday at 1pm only to discover that they were serving a brunch menu. We inquired about a lunch menu and were told that they didn’t start that until 2pm. Brunch wasn’t really what we were after, but since we were here and had already paid $5 for parking we decided to just order something. I had the breakfast tacos. They came on corn tortillas (like street tacos) and there were three of them. The menu did not say how many. They arrived prepared as I had requested. They tasted good but they were a little lonely without any sides. The food was good overall and the atmosphere, sitting right on the water, was perfect. I’ll home back when I can have lunch or dinner.

We ordered the Steak Chimichanga, Seafood Linguine, Fundido, Shrimp Ceviche, Rock Fish Bites, Bayside Burger (plain with no bun due to allergies), and 2 cocktails (Mescalita and Mojito). Our total came to $140. Nearly everything on the Chimichanga plate (the Chimichanga filling, sauce, and refried beans) was overly salty, making it unenjoyable. The Shrimp Ceviche did not taste fresh at all, almost like it was made with a jarred/pre-packaged vinaigrette. The Rock Fish Bites were decent but a little salty as well. The Bayside Burger was the only food that seemed to taste as it should.

Liked the place. I had been to previous restaurants at the same location. Each time the decor stays the same. The food has improved a lot since last owners. Service is excellent until it is time to get the check. To be fair they were a bit slammed. They should have had a notice on the website that the outside was closed for a private event. They announce daily stuff on it anyway. Food was good, atmosphere is good and service was good. Worh going

Bayside Cantina is finding its groove! I’ve been here a couple times now, and each time I come, the experience gets better. You can still expect a hiccup here or there, but the food is tasty and the aura is nice. The outside seating is super cool with the beautiful bay in the background! Staff is friendly, and sometimes they have live entertainment upstairs. Definitely a place to try out!

Outdoor seating is exactly what you’ll need to enjoy a beautiful sunset along with a house margarita, some chips and salsa, and delicious food. Had a great time and would love to visit this place again.
