Yesterday morning, I stumbled down the mountains in search of man’s life juice: coffee. I went to the newest addition of Sparta’s culinary business row. It is a family business in a very clean small town where everyone I have met so far has been extremely friendly. It is an exquisitely chic little place that serves the best coffee I have ever had. Mind you, in addition to countless coffee shops throughout the US, I have tasted coffee in a couple of continents and more, e.g., Europe, Africa, Latin America (including the Caribbean), the Middle East, etc. Despite asking for a very strong latte with 5 espresso shots (I needed to wake up a bit), I was pleasantly surprised to taste a bitter less smooth but strong enough for me coffee. The most important factor of my visit was the attitude of the staff. The owner, her son and family welcomed me with the most infectious smiles and laughter I have ever encountered in a business. If you are in the area or on the blue ridge parkway, I suggest you stop by. You will not regret it. I am anxious to go back for more than just coffee. Oh by the way, they also have drive though. This is a first in this town I think.

Sat inside and sipped some cappuccino. This place has a wonderful atmosphere. Staff arr exceptionally kind and friendly. Lots of different merchandise that you won’t find in other stores. Prices are very reasonable.

I had the best experience here! The people were so sweet and the coffee was incredible! If I lived in town, I’d be here every morning for coffee and just to chat with the employees. I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door. 10/10 recommend!!

First ‚real‘ coffee in town! Just visited my old school in Alleghany county and I was looking for some coffee due to some Jetlag. Read about the gathering place in the newspaper (most likely I’m the only in Europe for the alleghany news). As I’m a spoiled coffee junky from overseas, I never expected much when I visited NC…but things‘ve changed. A very good espresso machine and Someone knowing her business makes a great latte macchiato (extra shot espresso of course) and made my day . Okay, I should have not taking the caramel – was too sweet for me. But that‘s my fault….and I have to admit: I was very surprised seeing Bridget (graduated with her) and her family running the whole thing. That made it even better. Finally got to meet her husband Steven as well. Great family business. I‘ll make sure to stop by the next time I’m in Sparta! Keep it up
