Eating at Sally’s kitchen is like eating a delicious, home made, authentic cuisine. The food is fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes are shareable as well! It can get pretty busy on the weekends, so I suggest going earlier in the day. They also only serve certain dishes on the weekend and week days. I can’t wait to try all of their dishes!

Food was delicious. I wish some of their food wasn’t spicy already. For those of us who can’t eat spice it can be too spicy for us. In this case it was . I still wanted to try the dishes however I will not buy them again due to it being spicy. The laos sausages was too sweet for my liking. Laos style papaya was perfect. The bitter soup was good, however I would like for the beef to be more tender and more have intestines. The Thai garlic fried pork was delicious..

I purchased the papaya platter and raw beef laab at different times, and each time my order was tasty and authentic. The papaya platter has different items on there to sample so that is a great choice if you are uncertain about what to buy, just be aware that this dish is served on certain days. The raw beef laab is very flavorful so if you are skeptical about trying something raw, you can barely tell it’s actually raw! The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and cozy. The staff is really friendly and helpful, especially if you have questions about certain items on the menu. You can also customize how spicy you want your order, if you prefer a more mild or very spicy level. I definitely recommend this place to others who are wanting to try authentic South East Asian food.

I live in Los Angeles and was in town visiting family and was craving some Thai food so I decided to stop in. The staff is very friendly, helpful and sincere. I ordered the papaya salad with medium spice which was good. I think if you enjoy spicy food though, you should order it with hot level spice and you’ll be fine because medium wasn’t too spicy. I also had the traditional Tom yum soup with chicken which was very good. And last I had the summer rolls which I also enjoyed. One suggestion for the rolls though is that using one or two romaine leaves per roll might be better because the shredded lettuce was a little messy and I think a slightly bigger size of the peanut dipping sauce would be great too. I recommend this spot and look forward to returning next time I visit the area.

This self serve restaurant is incredible!! The food is made with love, lovely staff, and the restaurant is very comfortable. Definitely a place I will be coming back to. Everything is amazing but I highly recommend getting the papaya platter, shrimp rolls, and the drunken noodles!

Our first time and did take out. The food is amazing! My family tried drunken noodles, basil fried rice, pad thai, red curry, egg rolls, spring rolls and coconut soup.We all took a taste of it all. So flavorful, fresh veggies, perfect amount of sauces. Their food was yummy and delicious! We will be eat there again. Very excited you are here and open.

Exceptional food, they are always able to adjust to my dietary restrictions. I’ve had curry, pineapple, fried rice, and papaya salad here. A solid weekly choice to add to the regime. I like that there food is not overbearing with salt and you can tell the staff takes pride in every dish they put out.

When my boyfriend and I saw this place advertised as “Thai and Lao” we were extremely excited to have a Laos restaurant nearby as there are not many around. We were soon very disappointed that it was not authentic Lao food. We wish they would advertise what they really are because we were expecting something else. We still wanted to give it a try because we love trying new cuisines. Unfortunately, were disappointed again. The decor was really cute. Their customer service was great when we went to order. The items we wanted to try were only available on the weekend. We ordered the fungus salad which was very tasty. The bad thing about it was the shrimp tasted undercooked.. they were squishy and tough. We also ordered the papaya salad but something about it tasted off. The last thing we ordered was pad see ew which was lacking flavor and the noodles were a bit too hard. We told ourselves we would give it another chance and try other things on the menu another time because maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Fast forward to last week when my brother went to order food and offered to bring me some. He told them they had “Lao pho” available that day so I decided to try that. I do not want to be offensive but it was honestly inedible. It was extremely salty and it was 100% not Laos pho. The broth was very dark and I know Laos pho is clear. It is very similar to Vietnamese pho with slight differences. After this experience I do not think we will be eating here again.
