Curryosity is a great restaurant serving outstanding Indian food with a western twist. The happy hour appetizers and cocktails are only $5 each, well worth it to sample most, if not all with a small group. The traditional entrees are made very flavorfully and pair great with their authentically made garlic naan.

Probably the best Indian food I have had in San Diego!

Great food in an upbeat yet relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will return. They even made me a new dish when I didn’t care for the spice and flavor of my original dish.

Really awesome Indian restaurant! They had the classics like Chicken Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, etc., but they also had some really interesting modern fusion things: we tried the Naan Bruschetta, and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was very fresh and excellent quality. Their cocktails were also super interesting: each one was inspired by various flavor profiles of Indian cuisine, and they were cocktails unlike anything I had tried before. The staff were also super friendly and responsive; great service! I highly recommend checking this place out!

The place was clean and inviting. We didn’t have a reservation but was seated quickly. The food was great and portions good. We could have used more rice either the amount of curry they served. But enjoyed the meal very much.

I really hate to leave a bad review about this place because l love it but I feel it’s necessary. I’ve never had anything bad from this restaurant until I ordered the korma. It was not even close to korma. I was aware that they didn’t use nuts or raisins but the base is supposed to be creamy and on the sweeter side. This dish was so spicy I had to add a half a can of coconut milk just to tame it down. Super disappointed and will never order it again. However, I do love the raita and the naan is pretty decent. Portions are pretty good. The service at this place is always friendly and the atmosphere is cute and inviting. I will continue to keep going back but know better not to order korma again.

We sat in the back section on the cushions in the decorated room and it was really nice. Service was prompt, food has authentic taste and beautiful appearance, and the drinks were good. We had the Tandoori shrimp, the chickpea battered shrimp snacks, the samosa with vegetables in it, and the chicken masala with garlic naan. EVERYTHING was good right on down to the doing sauces. You can tell everything is super fresh out cooked to order. Wait for the food was not long either. (I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the food because it smelled so good I had to immediately eat.)

Visiting from out of town and we wanted to try an Indian place for dinner. Wow did we pick the right place! Amazing atmosphere, fantastic food, and stellar service. Order anything from the menu – it’s all good. Enjoy the Bollywood movies playing on multiple screens, but no screeching loud Bollywood music – just chill vibes all the way around. They make excellent use of their patio and bar to create the perfect indoor/outdoor ambience. This is definitely going on the “must go to” list anytime we’re back in San Diego.

Drinks were good. Food was barely eatable. Naan was undercooked. Vindaloo paneer was super spicy and not tasty at all. Naan bruschetta had no flavor. Bhelpuri and Samosa were okay. Definitely not a 4+ restaurant. Rice was sticky and tasteless

Reliable Indian food with a fun vibe! We got their paneer masala (ok), samosas (awesome!), curry fries (very good), and papdum (not free as the menu says). I wish they would add more dish options like chole masala. Pricey for what the experience is.
