Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon after a day on the beach. Casual, tavern-y feel with lots of dark wood. Nice view of the brook where some folks were having fun. I took advantage of their Wednesday $3 Yuengling special and started with the Chicken Quesadilla. For my meal, I ordered the French Onion Soup (very well done!) and the Meatball Sliders which are served on garlic bread with a side of chips. My family ordered a Cheeseburger and a Volcano Burger. All were very tasty, but the burgers were slightly overdone (ordered medium, verged on medium well). Both the regular fries and the sweet potato tots were delicious, so it’s nice to have choices. I’d go back again.

Food was good, wings are big soup was flavorful. Sandwhiches were tasty. Building is older which is fine by me. Nice to overlook the creek, they have a small patio area to sit outside. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We would go back. They have food and drink deals everyday.

We waited for an hour for 2 sandwiches and 2 salads from “today’s specials” menus. Waitress was hiding and I had to get up 3 times and look for someone to ask about our food. This was a Saturday noon and barely any people there. Food was good when it finally arrived. One good highlight was a view from our table by the window.

Called at 930pm to ask if open to 11 as per hours posted and the girl said yes come in! Show up with my two young daughters, and the gentleman who I guess was to be our server was in the back cursing and annoyed that they had a table and said he wanted to go home! We heard him yelling to the cook he couldn’t believe a table of four walked in! Never again will I ever walk into this place unprofessional. I hope you guys fire this kid as it was uncomfortable, my family and I walked out! Sorry to have troubled this place with trying to eat here and give money to the community

The food was very good. We sat upstairs at the bar. The bartender, however, was not very good. Every time she served us something, she placed it at the end of the bar and I literally had to stand up to reach it. Also, who serves burgers and fries and doesn’t offer ketchup?. I had to.ask for everything, imcluding another drink after mine sat empty for 10 minutes., And it wasn’t busy at all. She also told my friend that just because she asked for no fruit or ice in her drink that she would not be getting more alcohol in it. Very rude. If the food wasn’t so good, we would have left. Also, the bathroom floor upstairs was sticky. Gross. No doubt from mopping the floor with the same water they mop the bar with

It honestly wasn’t what I expected. But that said I’m really glad I finally stopped in and tried the place. I will be going back to try some of the other menu items. Very laid back not rushed atmosphere for a late lunch or early dinner. Nice view of the water outside the window and a friendly courteous staff.
