Super nice place and great service! The “Smokehouse burger” was so big and delicious!!! Fries were well seasoned and tasty not super crunchy though. There was no great BBQ sauce they had sweet sauce and then chipotle, but no sort of original sauce.

What a great addition to Kenton! The food is fabulous, with great portion sizes and excellent service. Very clean and crisp design. Definitely recommend the restaurant. We have had the food truck too, and you can’t go wrong with it either.

Awesome experience. I’ve lived in Texas for the past five years and I have been missing brisket! We came today for lunch and I was very impressed. The brisket was fantastic and the Carolina sweet BBQ sauce was some of the best I’ve had. So proud to have this in Kenton, I will definitely be back!

Stoped in here on my way through town, headed back to Columbus. This place is a hidden gem, I might make the hour drive back up to have it again. The brisket was a little dry, but anyone who has smoked their own will Know that from the second you slice it the clock is ticking, these guys do a great job. My ribs were well prepared and a good mix of fall off the bone and dense enough to not just be a mess. The Mac and cheese was so good I would come just for it, it’s as if the stouffer’s Mac and cheese from my childhood grew up. If you passing through or live near by and see this as an option I highly recommend it. Wait staff was attentive and kind. What a good find is a small town.

The food was awesome! We came into town for a fishing tournament at France Lake and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. Our group had a bunch of people, and let me tell you, everyone was raving about the food. The service was excellent and quick, which made the experience even better. This place is a fantastic addition to Kenton, no doubt about it. Oh, and by the way, you’ve got to try their bologna sandwich – it’s a must! Highly recommended!

Mulch It Land Clearing LLC (I) and Vanderpool Excavating Company (Tyler) was working together on Saturday, we decided to go get some food at 101 Smokehouse. We have eaten their food before from the food trucks in Dunkirk. We both ordered sweet tea and a 1 meat platter. Mine was pulled pork with roasted corn and brisket chili, I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. The different bbq sauces are awesome. I love being able to try new bbq. There was not one thing I didn’t like. Tyler’s was pulled pulled pork with roasted corn and fries, and he also enjoyed his meal. Keep up the good work. Now that carry out is available, we will be for sure ordering more.

This was a great find for us! We were just passing through and looking for lunch other than fast food. From the time we walked in Faith greeted us and we sat at the bar. Faith was friendly and offered great suggestions! We can’t compliment her enough she was great! We had the pulled pork and brisket with the Mac and cheese. It was delicious! We will make it a point to stop here again when coming through town.

The food was delicious I ordered my food to go the chicken salad was absolutely delicious I also got the chili it was good as well except it just didn’t agree with my chest due to me having acid reflux. My husband said the brisket was the best he’s ever had. We can’t wait to actually be able to go an just sit down inside an enjoy a meal. Thanks 101 smoke house for brining your good food to Kenton.
