The waiter spilled a whole cup of soda on my a young lady in my party and said he was sorry. Her whole shoe was wet and her clothes. We went back and forth about him removing her meal of the check. I thought that would be good customer service. He said “I said I was sorry”. My thought was you can do more.

Kabuki is where I go anytime I’m interested in quality sushi. The menu can be intimidating for the uninitiated, but they have some incredible options that consistently impress me. I took my fiancée here for the first time, and this is easily her favorite place for sushi. If I could afford sushi every day, it would most definitely be from here. It’s absolutely worth the price. Don’t let the location or size of the place fool you.

We visited Kabuki for the first time tonight for takeout. Based on some reviews about service we decided to preorder a few days in advance. The restaurant called to confirm the day beforehand, but was still around 15 minutes late with preparation. Understanding considering we placed a larger order, but a bit surprising. Note, it also took two weeks of communicating via social media to get a copy of their full menu.

This was my first time at Kabuki. Staff was friendly and the food was great. We ordered the gyoza and shumai appetizers with some sashimi and sushi. To finish it off we ordered some hibachi. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star rating is bc my wife’s hibachi shrimp order had hair in it, twice. We got the first order replaced but then the 2nd order also had human hair in it. Food was great otherwise and I would give them another shot if I was local. But seeing as I come to KOP for special occasions, I’m not sure I’d want to risk a meal here again.

Freshest sushi in town & BYOB! Kabuki has great sushi, consistently fresh and delicious. You must try the tuna dumplings, so tasty. The Hamachi Kama is always a treat, grilled and crispy yet tender. Can’t go wrong with any of the sushi rolls.
