One of the better bars to go to in Downtown Grand Forks. Most of their food is made freshly made, not frozen. Our favorites are the Mac N Cheese Bites, & the Crab Cakes. Their Black Truffle & Parmesan fries are wonderful as well!

Stopped by B&B recently on a Friday evening. The selection of beer on tap was excellent! We enjoyed a few beers & a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich! I’ll definitely stop in again!

Brick & Barley is always a great stop for after work happy hour. They have great happy hour special as well as nightly specials. Menu has a nice variety on it and their drinks are always great. They make the best Bulldogs in town so definitely order one of those! Also, their fries are absolutely amazing, order yourself a basket no matter what with a side of their house made dill ranch!!

Our party of 4 came in about 11pm looking for food. I noticed many other tables with food and watched a couple getting food delivered to their tables so I assumed we were in luck. One party had just left so I took a table next to that one. 3 guys took the dirty table and almost immediately a waitress came to their table, wiped it off and took their order. I even turned my chair towards the waitress thinking she may take a hint and take our order. No such luck. She went out of her way to walk the opposite direction away from our table. I thought maybe she’s blind or more likely a simpleton. She went to the bar to enter the order for the other table so I walked up and took the menus she had just placed on the bar from the other table. Maybe this time she’d figure it out since I was two feet from her when I took the menus. Another equally simple waiter was making the rounds but he couldn’t or wouldn’t manage to find his way to our table either. I generously gave it another few minutes as I watched both wait staff go to several other tables and continue to ignore our table. We finally gave up and walked out. I’m usually extremely generous with my tips. My tip is, stay away from this place if you’re looking for decent service. I’ll also suggest to anyone I know going to Grand Forks to avoid the Brick and Barley Bar at all costs. I’ve rarely had such a bad experience with service.

Ordered the NYE take-out adult happy meals with prime rib. The food was absolutely incredible! The cookies are one-of-a-kind incredibly good! Had a bit of a snag with pick-up timing and missing items, but when I reached out about the problem they came thru immediately with an above and beyond level of customer service. We can’t wait to visit in person again in 2021 when things with the pandemic have settled down again somewhat. Can’t go wrong with somewhere so dedicated to a positive customer experience!

We were looking to watch the hockey game and they quickly made it happen. The server was great, the men were sampling beers and she was patient with us. The kitchen made a mistake on my special order and it took way longer than they expected but I was impressed when the check came they didn’t charge us for it. Really appreciated them going above and beyond.

I have been a waitress for more than 20 years, so I do know that it gets busy, but also when you have made eye contact with the ppl waiting for service, then wait on another table that is not ok…..we where waiting patiently even went to get our own menus that the waitress saw and ignored. We would have left a great tip and a wonderful review.
