Googled “Mexican restaurants near me” and chose La Papa Loca…and a very wise choice it was! Cute Honduran atmosphere, friendly service and HUGE portions! Exceeded expectations in flavors and value. The burrito loco was the size of TWO large burritos and the tacos were packed full. Margaritas start at $5.00 and my top shelf Paloma was only $6 bucks! The chips were thin, light and crispy served with a “salsa” that was some sort of (addicting) creamy chimichurri concoction. Steak taco was deliciously seasoned and tender, carnitas taco melted in my mouth and the fish taco was perfectly cooked… slightly breaded and lightly fried. I really appreciated the generous amount of avocado on the salad and the rice was soft and fluffy. The Honduran sliced veggies were also a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the MANY dishes offered.

Warning: this is not tex mex. Its just mex. If you have been to the yucatan aka Cancun, then you will see alot of familiar food. If you are expecting skillet meat with 6 layers of cheese, go else where. I knew the burrito said loco but it was enough for 2 plus. Service can be a little absent sometimes but everyone is dealing woth a labor shortage.

My husband and I had a date night this Wednesday night, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The service was awesome and on point. She helped us with whatever we needed with a smile. The food was incredible. We have already been there before and I decided to go there for our date night. Perfect choice. Plus my husband was so happy with the price of our meals. He said you can’t get that if you would go to a fast food restaurant. $29 for 2 people he was so happy he gave her a big tip. .

My wife suggested that we try this spot which I assumed was Mexican dining. This place turns out to be Honduran cuisine. I loved the chips and various dips brought out to the table. I just wanted water as not to ruin my palate. My wife and son ordered lemonade and tea. I tried the burrito plate and my son had the quesadilla one. My wife had some type of steak plate. My plate had salad, double rice , and chicken burrito. My son had salad, rice, and chicken entry. My wife had chorizo, rice, salad, and steak entry.

This place is incredible. Everything tastes extremely fresh and is clearly made with care. The service is always really good as well. I highly recommend the namesake of the restaurant, the Papa Loca. It’s a baked potato with cheese and pastor pork. You can’t really go wrong with that. I haven’t even had a chance to try all of the different meat options, but every single one that I’ve tried has been fantastic.

This place looks great inside! Happy, comfortable atmosphere Tried the gorditas with barbacoa, Hondurans tacos dorado and torta al pastor. Tastes as delicious as it looks and the torta was a favourite. You can choose your protein in many of the dishes with a tasty selection to choose from. If you want satisfying, authentic food then I would highly recommend. Lots of food for the price as well. Overall, the food is 5 stars. Our service was a bit slow but the food was always ready promptly and was very fresh. We also couldn’t get water aside from bottles, which seemed a bit strange, and weren’t told beforehand. Still, will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Without question my favorite Latin restaurant in the area. They are consistently high quality and have a lot of options that are really unique to choose from. I highly recommend the Gorditas and trying the white chimichurri sauce to dip your chips in (the regular salsa is good too).

Came here for some authentic Mexican food outside the usual Texmex found around here. I love street tacos and came here specifically to try them. They were indeed very good. Prices are really good here and the service was great as well. Will definitely come back.
