Recently tried this spot over the weekend after craving some Jamaican food. I’m glad I picked this place because the food was amazing!! I ordered jerk chicken with cabbage and mac & cheese also tried some oxtails with rice & peas, plantains, and a side of collard greens. Their mango lemonade was delicious too. The food was cooked extremely well and you can tell it was freshly cooked. The meats were very moist and nothing was dried out. It was very clean inside and the staff in the front were nice and patient while I decided on what to ordered. They will show you your entire order when bagging so I was sure I received everything I ordered and so made sure I had my utensils as well. I’m definitely coming back.

I been hearing about this place on IG and looked on Google and it had good ratings. So I decided to try it. I went on there it was a Lil kid a register I asked for 2 things on menu and was told they don’t have smh 1st flag. So I ordered jerk chicken with white rice and 4 cheese mac. Paid 14$. Ok 1st the portion is horrible they basically gave me leg and thigh. It was bake jerk chicken another red flag had no taste the mac and cheese was just not it at all . I am jamaican jerk is suppose to be grilled. All the good reviews are from Americans who don’t know no better . Plz Don’t go here for no authentic jamaican food.

I’ve been trying to get there to try the food. Well today I made it!!! All I can saw is I was on 285 eating my oxtails. I couldn’t wait to get home to taste it. Big shout out to Big Chef Thad!!!

Oxtails and stwe chicken plate was extremely delicious and cooked to perfection, even the cake was very moist and tasted so good. The sevice was outstanding and fast. It was my first time there and she was patient and helpful. I will be back again and again.

Tried today for a new spot. Super friendly service, great food! Do not sleep on the banana pudding! I ordered the ox tails, Rasta Pasta (delish!), potato salad, and collards. I’ve been searching for some good oxtails and yams in Decatur and ran across this restaurant on TikTok. I’m very picky when it comes to yams but these were by far the BEST I’ve had in a while! The oxtails were on point too! The Mac and cheese was ok but the oxtails and yams definitely made up for it! I’m already thinking about what I’m going to try next time . I highly recommend trying this place !!

I’m sorry, but I went here (drove 1/2 hour in the rain) today for the 1st time and let me leave this HONEST review! I am so disappointed!! Portion size was very minimum, the curry chicken wasn’t very tasty (I had to jazz it up at home). The mac & cheese was horrible!! Bland with very little cheese for it being advertised as “4 Cheese…”. I wont even insult the store boxed mac & cheese cuz honestly, box tastes better!! Cabbage was watery with no taste! Rice & peas? Where wer the peas?? I saw maybe 4 in my entire meal! Never seen authentic Jamaican rice & peas with only 4 peas lol. I paid too much for this food & wud have been much better off at Golden Krust (which is where I started to go, but wanted to try something new Terrible decision…NVR again!!! I’m praying for yall to do better…

I don’t know where to start with this place. I entered and I was greeted by both the workers. It was my first time here so I didn’t know what to order, but they gave me all the time i needed to figure it out. I tried the Jerk Chicken with the 4 Cheese Mac and Yams. When i say i’ve never tasted before 4 Cheese mac before, I really mean that. They showed me my plate before bagging it to make sure i had everything i had ordered. Honestly 10/10 service and I would definitely try this place again.
