The food we got had rather unexpected flavors. I didn’t like the coconut shrimp very much, but those who love strong coconut flavors may enjoy it better. The kalbi short ribs also did not taste as good as I hoped. At least my husband’s fries are crispy and the burger is ok. Cute little place, fills up fast. We are lucky we didn’t have to wait to be seated.

We really liked the theme of the restaurant and the prices seemed reasonable. I think we liked the ribs best and the shrimp is okay. I appreciated that they had some gluten free menu items

We really liked this place. The lady was nice. The lunch plates were very good. I got pulled pork sliders and cole slaw and it was great! The deserts were also great (the owner apparently used to own a bakery). Don’t go here if you’re expecting fine dining but if you’re looking for a solid kid friendly lunch place, our family was highly satisfied.

New Hawaiian BBQ place in town, open maybe a week or two(?). Cute and fun vibe. I tried the Kalua Pork, which came with rice, cabbage, pineapple coleslaw, and macaroni salad.

We go to Aloha Friday Harbor every couple of weeks and really enjoy it. Kind staff, good food, reasonable prices (this is an island, people!).

Food was pretty good. Wish I got more bbq and more rice. Wife loved the coconut shrimp but as another reviewer said, it has a lot of coconut flavor.

Aloha!!!! My personal Experience. As usual the ferries were running late. So it looked like dinner at the island was a must. We chose to eat at the Hawaiian spot. Since my friend had never been to Harbor Friday. She wanted to try a bunch of local spots. As we go in we ran into some friends. The lady at the register was very aggressive. I had never been there to eat. I asked my friends sitting to the left of the register, if they had any recommendations. And she seemed offended by my question. After ordering I asked just a few things, she started talking down to us. We noticed everyone at the table had a fancy glass of water litter. We requested if we could get a water as well she said there’s bottles available to grab. My friend, looked confused and said no worries. We grabbed a few of the drinks from the fridge. Not to mention we never received a receipt. Therefore, shortly after they kept calling order numbers from a window. Oops, we didn’t realize it was us. She came from behind the kitchen and yelled that she is too busy for us to be ignoring her call. My sarcasm wanted to kick in, so I just said oh how sorry we were for not realizing that she was calling us. She did not take lightly to it. And made us feel like we didn’t belong there. Mahalo lady. I liked the food. If I ever order again i will take it to go. I wasn’t sure how to order there. As I asked questions she made me feel uncomfortable to even have the audacity to ask, thus perhaps anyone has suggestion for future goers. Maybe it will be helpful. As a local I was thrown off by that. Over all Friday Harbor is an amazing spot! Sorry I was so bother I forgot to take a picture. The food is good. The atmosphere is good. The service was good the lady screaming she is probably under stress bring her flowers. She will appreciate it!

This is a family owned restaurant with a fun, relaxing atmosphere. The food was unique and tasty. It was a refreshing new flavor compared to all the other different options in downtown Friday Harbor.

Great place to eat. The owner and her daughter run a pretty good kitchen. Great friendly service that can be hard to find anywhere else on the island. Don’t forget to try the goodies after your meal the lillycoy cheesecake, and guava cake are amazing.

A solid place for breakfast or lunch – plus a great change from the typical. Moco Loco was totally on point and the pineapple slaw was fantastic. We will be coming back for sure!
