I like the atmosphere of the restaurant for a quick lunch. I had the turkey Apollo that I was not pleased with the sandwich had maybe 2 thinly sliced slices of turkey. The original Apollo is served with Ham, Turkey, and/or Roast Beef. I thought maybe I would receive enough turkey for the substitution of the other meat. I like the 45 sauce and chips though.

Last week, I ordered a Chicken Power Salad on Door Dash. This is my usual salad order, so I am extremely aware about its contents. I was HIGHLY disappointed for the first time! I received wilted/soggy iceberg lettuce and most of the contents were missing. It seemed as though…since it was later in the night, they had run out of the appropriate lettuce and ingredients. I understand…that happens. However, just throwing a different salad together and trying to pass it off as a Chicken Power Salad is unacceptable. Especially since the Chicken Power Salad is one of the more expensive items on the menu.

Not the best service today.. ordered a DSHS it was a cold cut.. had it remade… order soup of the day got a 1/2 container, should have double checked that too.. but didn’t think you could mess up soup. $6 for what’s pictured is NOT okay..

2022-12: Enjoyed lunch here with a small group. Been to several locations over the years, downtown, Blythewood, and even Augusta. The NE location was what I’d expect from the Groucho’s name. It was clean, the service was great, food was delicious, and everyone left satisfied. Enjoyed it. And that Formula 45 Sauce…. I always forget to get an extra cup to dip my chips and pickle in. No shame.
