It’s a relatively small place for group or family gatherings, so definitely make a reservation 1-2 days ahead before you go. Go in groups. Their food comes in large portion and so filling, and everything on the menu looks so tempting; if you go alone, you won’t know how to order. We had a group of 6, empty stomaches, tried almost a little bit of everything from the menu, but still came back with a lot of leftovers. We loved everything: soups, buns/breads, eggplant appetizers, meat kabobs, desserts. They charge 20% tips for party of 6+, and 3.5% process fee for using credit cards. For their friendly and quick service, and given how complicated the food is, I think it’s reasonable. They did not serve free tab water, but they gave us complimentary hot tea towards the end. Overall, for $60 per person, good food and good experience.

This place was fabulous. The noodle soup was terrific. Very flavorful. So was the kebab. Get the compote to drink too. Can’t wait to get back there.

I had the Shurpa. It’s amazing and price is very reasonable. I plan to try other things on the menu too. Worth a try. The ambiance and well behaved staff is also a reason why you must pay a visit to this amazing place.

Food tasted so home made and authentic the flavors blew my mind. I don’t understand why other reviews say it is overpriced with small portions. This is 100% untrue we ordered basically the whole menu at only spent 100$(4 appetizers, 2 bottles on Pellegringo, 2 kebabs, 2 sides, dessert and tea) . The home style potatoes, chebureki, hachapuri were my favorite and my husband ate all the kebabs by himself. The only drawback is that they have Pepsi instead of coke but that is no biggie becuase that’s only preference. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Can’t wait to go back next week.

What a delightful surprise we fell upon! Shirin is such a lovely place that takes you away for a short spell filled with culture. From the decorated walls with twinkly lights and carpets, to the sounds of a Russian concert playing on the TVs in the background, down to the food served on china plates. The foods are delicious, we started with bread that smelled and tasted so good, followed by boiled dumplings with sour cream. I had the stuffed grape leaves and the meat was so flavorful and delicious. My date had skewed lampchops and that did not disappoint! Very flavorful, tasty, and juicey. The space is small but that only adds to the family and friendly feel. It is suggested that you make a reservation however if you get in early enough like we did, they will happily seat you.

Visited Shirin Cafe a week ago. Loved the hospitality and the food. Something about the food reminded of home! Loved everything we ate… so different yet felt so familiar! Will be back to try more.
