This restaurant came highly recommended by several people before we came to Maui and by locals when we arrived. My family had high expectations as a result. Our experience exceeded our expectations! This was probably the best meal we had while in Maui. The garden terrace was beautiful. The menu was creative and, more importantly, delicious. My kids lived watching their pizzas being cooked in the brick oven by our table. My wife loved the view. Indoors there was live music.

Shout out to Beth and the Kula Lodge family for a beautiful birthday brunch! Beth was our waitress and she provided top notch service. We were a party of 10 locals (13 with the toddlers) and Beth navigated everything professionally. She was on it with our orders and made sure we were always well taken care of. The food came out quick and it was flavorful. My toddler usually will refuse eggs but he loved their kids menu! Thank you again Beth for the beautiful service it tremendously added to the wonderful memories made today.

One of the most beautiful settings in upcountry Maui. I wanted to stay all afternoon and just take in the view. The surrounding gardens were also so lush and filled with colorful, fragrant tropical flowers. The brick oven pizza was excellent s were the pastas. Definitely save room for the chocolate mousse dessert!

What a lovely restaurant for a brunch on a sunny day – surrounded by plants and colorful flowers and when you sit outside and eat, you get such a good vibe. Wonderful food. Quiche, waffles, pancakes and eggs were outstanding..Avocado trees are such a beauty to watch, so many avocados are ripe and hanging..gardener there is so informative. People who served us food and at the entrance was so pleasant and attentive and helpful…Store near the restaurant has such good local products, lilikoi paste and coffee are so good! I could hang out around here all day..a must visit in Hawai! Doesn’t have to wait until you return from the sunrise Haleakala visit..

The view was great, we came after viewing the sunrise and they seated us right by the window above the patio and you could see the ocean on both sides of the island. We ordered a bowl of fruit, a cup of coffee, and a Maui mimosa to start. After we finished we ordered the lox bagel, which came out on a build-your-own tray which was perfect for sharing. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is it was very expensive but it’s understandable with the view and limited restaurant availability in the area.

Best meal we had on this trip to Maui. It’s certainty worth the drive up to Kula. We were at The Plantation House two nights before and Kula Lodge was much better at half the price.
