First time here. Portions are small. You’d expect a restaurant size bun for your BBQ if you pay $11 for the sandwich but it was small regular size. Fries were small amount too. Very small. No BBQ sauce on the table at a BBQ joint !!! It was OK. Much like what you’d fix at home. Food not that great.

Bar BQ sandwich was ok but the sauce was interesting, either had too much cinnamon or nut meg. Love the cheese curds and sweet tea. Customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice.

Service was good. Got the catfish with green tomatoes and onion rings it was all greasy like the heat was to low or too much was in the fryer. The fries green tomatoes flavor was great but they were soggy. The onion rings were good though

Pleasant surprise. BBQ plate was perfect. Large serving of coleslaw and crispy fried green tomatoes. Chicken and Dumplings was the other order with okra.

This place was disgustingly dirty and UNCLEAN inside, the oil they use to fried was dirty and old, didn’t even touch my food menu said burgers came with Two sides charges 3$ each disgusting side watered tasteless macaroni with burnt specks in it and fries that is drenched oil dirty FISH oil smell , burger was flooded with mustard just really gross I would not recommend first and LAST time every going there. DADS BBQ is WAAAAAAAAAY better and the same price honestly atleast you know your foods going to be fresh and cooked in a clean environment literally left food like this couldnt even finish and when checking out “how was your meal” I said not too good at all, response was “OoKaY”

Husbands Catfish was over cooked (more crust than catfis). My potato salad was bland, cornbread was burnt on bottom and Mac n cheese tasted like something you get off a buffet hot bar. The staff was very friendly, but we only saw our waitress to order our food and for her to bring our food out. She never checked back with us. We waited at least 5mins or more hoping she would come by for us to get a to-go box and a refill …seeing how my husband was out of sweet tea half way through our meal.

So…. as in some of my other reviews, we travel as concessionaires and follow Nascar. On the road we get tired of chain restaurants with the same stuff. Today we found a REALLY good place @ Betty’s BBQ. The food was really good with a home town vibe and flavor. The waitstaff was so friendly and the customers were talkative with us and I interactive !! If ur in this part of Alabama u just might/should check this place out, we know we will return!!

Looking for some BBQ in my travels, I ran across this place and decided to give it a whirl. The service was prompt and courteous and my server Tandi was great. The tea was soured, either the sweet or the unsweet tea, as I prefer half & half. I ordered the sliced beef brisket come slaw and baked beans. The beans were good and even had a little meat in them, very sweet they were. The cole slaw was more or a finer puree style of chop with very little carrots in it, a very runny mayo style. The beef had a lot of gristle in it and had hardly any smoke flavor at all, it came smothered in bbq sauce, had it not it would have had no flavor hardly. Look at the picture, the smoke penetration was about 1/8″ into the meat, very little. This meat was dry as well like it had been sitting around under a heat lamp for sometime, maybe it was just overcooked, but one or the other. The cornbread was dense and did not rise very much when it was made. It also had been made for a while. The portions were decent, this was the best thing and the price was not bad, had everything been better. If out looking for bbq, pass this place up…….
