We stopped here for lunch on our way to Galveston. The food and service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the building. The restaurant was busy for lunch but they have plenty of seating. We had the shrimp and grits and the Reuben Sandwich. Both meals were delicious and cooked to perfection.

Loved the historical ambiance and staff but one star off due to the Chilean Sea Bass $30+ that was way too salty and Cod-like dry not bouncy that I’m not convinced it wasn’t cod. Beautiful plating and loved the risotto. The second star off was for the fruit flies and gnats I had to dine with. Husband had the meatloaf and said it was good.

This restaurant is amazing! Not only is it absolutely adorable, but it’s incredibly affordable. My family of 7 + 1 (8 total) were able to eat (with tip) for right under $100. That’s pretty much unheard of for us. Most meals cost us closer to $200.

Upscale food in Rosenberg! Wow! My wife & I were pleasantly surprised. Onion Soup and Crab cakes for appetizers. Great take on Chicken Pot Pie. My wife said we will be back.

I’ve always driven by here but never went in. I was recommended by a friend. I was BLOWN AWAY to say the least. Letty was our server and she was the kindest person. The food was absolutely delicious. Best patty melt I’ve ever had. The servers all checked on us and Letty made a Father’s Day memorable! P.s. the berry cobbler is to die for. The tables were hand made by the owner and you can see the love and attention they put into the place! I will be back and i recommend everyone here!

Got the 819 burger with fries. The fries were great, the burger wasn’t. The meat patty had zero flavor and the bacon on the burger was tough as jerky. Service was good even though they were busy at high noon. Unfortunately, it was very loud too.

Amazing and the staff was very friendly! Was in a historic part of the city, near an (could be running still?) ole train station. Yes, it’s air conditioned as well. + Full bar, with knowledgeable staff, w/o price gouging in these crazy times. Definitely a recommendation, hat tip to the chef.
