I ordered through door dash for pickup. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told there wasn’t any fries after I asked where they were. Then the food was EXTREMELY cold. The wings tasted like they were cooked at 9am and still being served at 5pm and they were not seasoned (Very shocking). The dressing looked cream of wheat and was ice cold. the only thing that was decent was the mac and cheese. I spent $22 but the meal all together was worth $4.50!! The soda was ice cold though and there was great customer service. I am sad to say I will not be returning. Especially if I have to pay my own money.

Came in with my husband because we wanted to try something new and I love southern/creole food. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, we should have gotten 2 orders of them so I could have an order to myself. We just had our honeymoon in the Caribbean this winter and the rum punch definitely tasted authentic. I had the crab leg boil for dinner and everything was cooked perfectly, soft potatoes, juicy corn, and meaty crab. I wish there was a small bucket for the shells though. My husband got the wings and though they were on the smaller side, there were a lot of them and he said the meat and flavor was good. The team was all very kind and polite. Ambiance could use some cool paintings on the walls, but they may be working on that because I did see some hooks up. Will definitely either go here or order again, lots more to try! The catfish po boy and gator bites are next.

I called to order the vegan boil on a Sunday not knowing the menu was different. The employee on the phone informed me none of the Sunday food was vegan, but offered to make us fried green tomato po’ boys. They were delicious!

Spent over $150 on two delivery orders. The Cajun pasta with chicken was not Cajun at all. Also, barely any shrimp for the shrimp Cajun pasta. Plus, my container was completely broken upon delivery and Uber will not refund or give any credit. Also, the amount they charge for chicken wings is crazy! About 9 pieces for $18 is crazy. Not full wings. Half wings. Unfortunately will never order from them again.

So I’m extremely upset spent 61 dollars for dinner last night from them. I ordered theough door dash. Grantes i ordered to late like 10 min before the cut off for door dash. My dasher got to the store at 9:05pm 5 min after they were said to close on google.

PHENOMENAL! Based on food alone, 5 stars, easy. But (for me) it’s a bit expensive; a small 8oz container of Mac & Cheese was $7, a small take out container of fried pickles was $12, when I saw the amount in the little container I was kind of bummed. Same with the rest of the order. So not a place we can frequent often at all which is too bad but dang the food was awesome.

I ordered fried catfish, fried okra, black eyed peas and greens. The food tasted good. I didn’t like that it took over an hour for it to be delivered. I live north in Kenosha. When it finally arrived, this obese woman huffed and puffed very slowly up one flight of stairs. She was the delivery person. My food was tossed around in the container and mixed together. I would order here again but only for dine in.

It’s no reason why three hours before they close there’s no food. This place was empty and staff members were just chilling all over the dining area lounging. They’re were telling me everything that they didn’t have on the menu which was basically almost everything on the menu.

First time trying Taejavu’s and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The chicken & fried green tomatoes are to die for. Everything WAS FIRE!! I definitely wish I had the recipe to the mango drink I tasted!! & The service we received was so amazing. We will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keep up the amazing job.
