Very very RUDE waitress lady with accent. My daughter and I did NOT see any sign that say wait to be seated which you would normally find. We went to ask at the counter and she said, “you need to wait.” It was abrupt and rude. I understand if it was busy with lots of customers things can get hectic but it was very slow. We waited will she took order. Then another guy walks to table and was just like can I sit here and she hands him menu. We were still left just standing and NO ONE acknowledged us. We walked out.

I know crime is on the rise in NY, but I didn’t expect to be robbed when departing at Le Grand Comptoir. Crisps were tasteless. The burger had certainly been microwaved. Boiling hot to touch, soggy after 2 mins. Waitress was pleasant. No complaints there. I would say walk across to Hudson and get your food there, but $5 for a bottle of water got me remortgaging the house.

the worst restaurant/wine bar I’ve ever experienced. They handed me some sort of disheveled menu and then warned me that nothing on the menu is available for the most part. The waiter then asked if I would prefer pink white or red wine. All the wines are egregiously overpriced even beyond the normal airport ripoff.

Good luck getting served. Bar staff are lazy and ignorant. Visited about 30 mins ago. Not particularly busy but bar staff not interested in serving customers. Left and spent my money elsewhere.
