NATURALLY DAY’S EYE
We went in for jerk dine-in and was pleasantly surprised by the high energy of the staff here. There was karaoke going on. There was a slight pat down at the door. We ordered from the bar menu. I must say the the jerk tips were absolutely amazing.

Been going here for years food and drinks were always on point but the new menu they have is outstanding…sweet potato chips, oxtail pasta Rasta and prawns is my favorites. Go and support Black owned business you won’t be disappointed.

totally different from whats online went in today didnt get offered the happy hour special wasnt shown a drink menu they just pointed to the bar to let you see what they had the drinks were non happy what was even worse they said because of covid they had no side dishes even though they show sides on the site they didnt have any chicken claiming they ran out during the morning hrs the wings (yeah i know ran out of chicken remember) were old the fish was dry the only thing that tasted decent was the fries if you put lots of salt on them the bill was totaled out before we even finished our food wasnt given a receipt just a ( i have to close your bill out because we only have one register) mind you there were only 3 ppl there and two of them just came in and hadnt ordered anything yet i don’t even know how much each item costs they just told us the total which we paid would not recommend this place unless you’re in a laugh which i wasnt but you live and you learn whoever gives this place great reviews must either work there or know someone who does dont go by the pics on the site totally misleading

We placed our order of shrimp, chicken tacos, 2 lamb chops and fries and 7:30. The food finally came out at 8:06. We were the only 3 customers in the restaurant. This is honestly ridiculous. I’m not usually one to post a bad review but maybe this is the reason why it was empty in the first place.

I had mixed feeling with this visit. Since a friend suggested their Instagram page, I’ve been following and wanting to taste their food! I was super pumped and ready to taste everything. The decor was a plus, I didn’t really have any expectations for decor but it’s really cute Island Vibes (hints the name, huh). As for the food, I’m 80 good /20 bad, oooh it was hard to write that but it’s the truth. The oxtails were “ok”, they came in a bowl so there was more heavy and not a lot of meat. The rice had quite a bit of hard grains and the yams had a potent taste (like an accidental did soap left in the dish or something). The cabbage & Mac N Cheese was good and the best thing…. The thing I’ll go back for… The thing that had my family wishing they had the same… The Jerk Catfish!!!! Now that was soooo good, definitely recommend it!! I wanted to taste other dishes so I’ll go back to try those and order the fish as well.

The place was clearly over capacity and they didn’t care. They want you to pay cash but the ATM didn’t work so I had to travel to get cash to pay to get in. It was tight you could barely move.
