Starting off the customer service is AMAZING. The owner Angela is one of the sweetest souls I have ever met! Things are a bit pricey but worth it. Never had jerk catfish and when I say it was awesome and super spicy as I personally enjoy. Beef patties were delicious and authentic as well. Will be back really soon to try the oxtail! Thank you again!

Came in for lunch and got a dark jerk lunch special. Chicken was VERY well seasoned and cooked tender, and Angela’s homemade jerk sauce is like being back in Jamaica! Plaintains were sweet and cooked very well, and the red beans and rice rounded everything out perfectly. Excited to have a GREAT Jamaican restaurant in Flint and I’m excited to try more items!

Can I just say first the customer service is Top Notch always smiles and greetings from the owner. 2nd the food- when you first walk in the door the spices hits your olfactory and draws in. But the amount of food on top of how flavorful it is amazing superb dining experience. My go to for authentic delicious food. I got the jersey chicken dinner and the curry goat.

For 36 dollars the portion of the food was way too small!!!! The oxtails were cooked properly but it had no flavor at all. The rice and beans was under the oxtails in oil basically and the Mac and cheese was bland. If it was seasoned it would’ve been perfect because the oxtails were tender. I couldn’t get a side of curry for my food even though I was going to pay for it. Overall my honest review is 4/10 they did have good customer service and was fast

BEST jerk I’ve had in my life. Came back to my hometown to visit and wanted a new food spot to try and my boy recommended this place. Came in ordered the 6 jerk wing dinner with cabbage and left with my dinner but forgot my cabbage. Halfway into eating my food I forgot that I never came back to get my cabbage. Came back hours later and explained to them how I forgot my cabbage and she gave me a new one free of charge and I ordered a jerk taco to go with it. Definitely a 5/5. HIGHLY recommended. Top 3 in Flint for SURE.

Mac n Cheese was bland had to add my own salt. Rice n beans were underneath jerk chicken (not covered in aluminum foil) so they tasted charred, burnt, and bland. They give the smallest dipping sauce cup to put the jerk sauce in. Had to add my own barbecue sauce which is shown on the red beans and rice. When I called The manager said “sorry you felt that way, this is our first complaint.” I just thought it could’ve been handled better since it was my first time trying them and they’re the only jamaican place around. Our phone exchange was off putting enough for me not to try them again. Oh well.

Seriously amazing food. Got the jerk chicken dinner. It was phenomenal. Sides were great too. Placed my order with the lovely owner. You can really tell she truly loves and cares about what she’s doing. The sauce she makes home made is amazing. I want it on everything.

I’ve been waiting so long to try this restaurant and it was well worth the wait. The food was amazing. I literally seen them take the Mac out the oven and was impressed. They are extremely friendly in there as well!
