We had the buffet and it was great. Definitely have the goat! Even though there was a good amount of people, the acoustics was very good, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere.

Went here on a whim on Saturday right when they opened at 11AM. All of the food were very fresh and delicious. The buffet was a great way to sample different dishes. I highly recommend anyone in the area to come here and enjoy Indian cuisine!

We were traveling to florida via Jackson Mississippi. It’s time to have lunch so we were looking for Indian restaurants near Jackson. We found a restaurant which has good ratings.

Just had takeout/delivery (Waitr) from here. I’ve been to several of the local area Indian restaurants and I must say this one is a welcomed change. Not that the others are bad, I simply like variety and love that this place has a selection of southern Indian choices. This go-around, I tried my usual assortment: lamb vindaloo, veggie samosa, paapri chaat, chicken biryani, and several selections to naan. We also ordered the mixed grill. The meat with the grill was perfectly seasoned and very, very tender. The vindaloo was rich, spicy, full of flavor. The veggie samosa and Chaat are two great appetizers to get the meal started. Overall, was very impressed. Look forward to seeing this place in person next time!

Wonderful Indian restaurant just off of Spillway in the old Cool Water building. An amazing variety of authentic dishes that showcased the diversity of Indian food. Plenty of vegetarian choices and they were very accommodating on the level of heat.

This place is not definitely a place for good Indian Food. We ordered rotisserie m, curries, biryani. Despite of telling medium spicy they served spicy and kids could not eat. Biryani, the worst recipe I ever had tasted in the restaurants so far. Tandoori platter we ordered is average.

The people are friendly and responsive. The food was wonderful. Our table ordered butter naan, garlic naan, spicy lamb curry, mild chicken curry, spicy Andhra Chicken curry, medium Andhra chicken curry and one other dish that I have forgotten the name. Every person at the table was happy with their food. We had our picky children with us and surprisingly even they enjoyed their food. My husband noted that the naan was more spendy then he felt it should be. I had also ordered the Masalla Chai which was spendy for the size of the drink. Other then that, we left with to go boxes because the food was so filling for us. We will definitely be going back and will be recommending this spot and trying more from the menu!

If I could eat North South Tadka for every meal, I would. I mean it. You’ll never have a bad experience. Every dish is excellent, the service is fast, and the wait staff is kind and accommodating. A great option for dining in or grabbing to-go.

My first time trying Indian food and it was delicious. I got the butter chicken(medium heat) it was seasoned well and the chicken was so tender. I ate twice from one plate. & at $15.99 for basically 2 servings.. I call it a win! I’ll definitely be back. Give this place a try.
