We loved eating at Giovanni’s in Sandy Hook during our recent stay there. Ordering by phone and picking up was always fast and simple. All the staff were super friendly, and the inside was spotless and clean. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. As of 8/2023 they’re not open on Sundays or Mondays.

The food was good but the dinning experience not so much. The person checking us out was kind. We are not locals but was told it was a good place to eat. We appreciate the recommendation. An employee had family visiting while we had dinner. The family was very loud, yelling at each other and cussing at the table beside us. After a long day of traveling it would have been nice to get a quiet dinner. Also parking is difficult but you can drive around the building.

If you’ve ever been an eastern KY expat, you know you missed Giovanni’s pizza. It’s the taste of a hundred school pizza parties and post Little League celebrations. This location has fantastic service, whether you dine in or order carry out. I’m partial to their pizza bread sandwiches (black and green olives with bacon) with a side of French fries and a fountain Mt. Dew or a bottle of cold Ale 8.
