We traveled through Monticello a year ago while moving my parents. It was a wonderful visit. The staff was phenomenal and so friendly. The food was amazing and delicious. We live in Northern Utah and I still talk about going back through Monticello just to eat at Gustavo’s. It was a really good meal and experience. Thank you!

Very good Mexican restaurant, especially considering the location at a tiny crossroads in rural UT. Steak tacos and chicken mole were very good. Clean with friendly & quick service. Don’t hesitate to stop in!

Loved this place. I ordered the Asada and Shrimp tacos. DELICIOUS! Our friend ordered Fajita (not pictured) and my husband chicken enchilada (green sauce dish) and chilli rolleños (not pictured). They just got their liquor license and hubby and friend ordered house margaritas, which they said were pretty strong. I had the pineapple juice and it was delicious. We are so happy this place is in Monticello! It adds variety to the area!

We were on a road trip and found this place online. Absolutely delicious and faster than our family, who went to fast food. I would highly recommend it. The portions were pretty generous too.

I thought the food was really good. Great chips and salsa, it’s spicy and not just tomato water also their “lemon pie” is really good! So save room for desert, or order it first 😀

I’ll tell you what, 10/10. I absolutely loved the homemade tortillas, they not only look great they taste great too. I got some chicken tacos, and they had some green sauce that came with it. Whew! It was HOT! But so good. You know it may hurt, but you keep going back.

The most expensive carne asada burrito i ever eat! Presentation not very good because it was for a take out. On my way to Texas i find this little place. And i think the burrito its over price VERY OVER PRICE as you can see on the receipt, BUT food was amazing the size was like a small/less than medium.

My husband and I ordered chori queso and a veggie burrito and we’re super disappointed with what we got. The veggie burrito was just frozen steamed carrots, peas, corn and edamame with some grilled peppers and onion. It was almost inedible and cost $14! Service was also incredibly slow. Would not recommend. If you’re staying in Montecello to visit canyonlands, it’s worth driving the 45 mins to Moab for some decent food.

I was surprised by the phenomenal flavor. The chips are homemade as God intended and they have the best restaurant salsa you’ll find anywhere. I had the hatch stacked enchiladas. They tasted like the chilies were roasted 5 minutes before they were put on the plate. I tried everything on my table. The kids enchiladas and the mole were likewise incredible. These recipes and this food taste like they were made by someone who loves food as much as I do.

We stopped in to grab some lunch and we’re surprised to a meal of some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Tacos were made with homemade tortillas and came with two delicious homemade sauces. My partner ordered the enchiladas and they came with carrots, at first I was skeptical, but then we realized they were the best most delicious thing we had ever eaten. Go to the restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
