Love these empanadas, are they a tad pricey sure, but what isn’t these days, overall I didn’t think it was too bad, but you’ll need more than 2 to get full, just keeping it 100%. The manager/employee was super cool and accommodating, would surely come back here anytime!

MICA. Is. Incredible. I was waiting for a friend that was running late to dinner and just as he got there I was already set on getting some empanadas. As I walked up I was surprised to see the lights off (it was closing time, it wasn’t that surprising) and the employee, Mica, getting ready to leave. I asked if they were closed and she confirmed so I said “ok, no worries, thank you.” As I turned to walk away she stopped me and said “Actually, what we’re you looking for I can help you out.” She was incredibly outgoing and friendly, even though I knew she had one foot out the door and was just moments away from enjoying her Friday night. I appreciated her professionalism and generosity to stay open just a bit longer and her recommendations were absolutely delicious. Not only were the empanadas delicious, but the customer service was in a class of its own. Mica, thank you again and I hope you get the recognition you deserve.

These empanadas were incredible overpriced and the taste was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and eat at one of the other places at Bluebird that isn’t a chain (found out this part after the fact!). Save your money and pass on Lazo. I wouldn’t mind the price if they were good, but all three of the empanadas I had were not delicious at all and the amount of cheese in each was overwhelming…and I’m a cheese lover. How this has 5* I have no idea.
