The service was good, but the food was VERY BLAND for how much we were spending. Nothing was bad, but the red sauce tasted like it came from out of a freezer pasta dish, and the clams we ordered tasted flat and underwhelming… Also, my $30+ filet mignon dish came with a side of vegetables that looked like they came out of a freezer bag and had no seasoning on them. It was a very disappointing meal, we will not be coming back.

Cafe Sole is an authentic Italian restaurant( one of the best in the area,) food is delicious and customer service is excellent, Salvatore (I don’t know if it is the correct spelling )makes everyone feel comfortable , he is polite and friendly. This is my benchmark when it comes to pizza. I believe theirs to have a strong foundation because they -really- know their bread. Theirs has a sparkle I just don’t get from any other restaurant. This translates to their pizzas as well. Couple it with good ingredients, a friendly staff and an owner who makes you feel like you’re family and you’ve got a place I return to time and time again.

I didn’t think the food was good. Their risotto with mushrooms was very bland, and not savory. The house bread was burnt on the bottom. The food was disappointing to say the least. I didn’t think it was worth the money.
