Last time I visited here was January of 2020 way before pandemic.

I came to the restaurant during their dessert and coffee hours, and so I ordered a cappuccino and their honey lavender cheesecake. The draw to eat here is definitely from the 15th century Italian inspired atmosphere, which featured towering columns, potted trees and a fountain in the center. The courtyard is also popular for group reservations, but that is not required for seating. The restaurant has counter service, and patrons were called to the counter as per covid regulations. The menu can be accessed through a QR code in front of the entrance to review as you continue through the museum, and is also featured on a large monitor beside the cashier. I think this is a great place for lunch dates, or as a pick-me-up before returning to the museum.

I was a little taken back by the food. It looks delicious… but tastes just a little off. The Key Lime pie was really disappointing as well as the chicken salad sandwich with black olives everywhere..

Rozzelle Court Restaurant at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art leaves much to be desired when it comes to the culinary experience. While the setting is charming and the ambiance is pleasant, unfortunately, the food fails to live up to expectations.

I like the cafeteria style set up they started during covid. I picked what I wanted, paid, and sat down. I ordered a whole chicken salad sandwich, a cup of macaroni, a slice of key lime pie, and a bottle of coke. The food was a little overpriced imo, but it was fairly good. I paid about $28 for the meal. I liked the sandwich a lot, but the tart taste of the pie was overpowering and the style of the scorched cheese topping on the macaroni was definitely not for me. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful. I don’t know if I would come back here as a college student, but it was a convenient stop for me during tours.

Rozzelle Court is a delightful spot for a light lunch amid KC’s largest art museum. I typically get some variation on soup, salad and sandwiches, so I can’t comment on entrees or other offerings. But the food (a constantly changing menu) has always been excellent. Service is polite and efficient. And it’s hard to beat the atmosphere.

We’re really fond of the Court- it’s a lovely space. The food is very good, though the bread in our latest sandwiches was quite fluffy and a bit tasteless. I wish they’d bring back the self-serve water and coffee..Service was a.bit slow this last time too. Still, you can’t find a prettier venue, and you’ve got all the museum to peruse, afterwards.

Perfectly placed within the museum. Sure it wasn’t dirt cheap, but it was reasonable. The presentation and flavor was well worth the price. The water was even served in glass water goblets. The serving size was good too. I’m on the smaller side, but was satisfied with the half sandwich and dessert. The atmosphere was airy and it fit with the feel of the museum. The service was also nice too, since they brought the food to the table and cleared it for us.

Beautiful location inside the museum. Tables are set within a courtyard feel with high ceilings. On the pricier side, but it was all really tasty. A couple of us had the pork tenderloin, which was delicious, but could have certainly used a slightly larger portion, especially for the price. My meal was also at room temperature; not a hot meal at all. Other members in my party had the sweet chili power bowl with shrimp and the roasted turkey sandwich. They both liked their meals and found them filling. I would go back but order something different for myself.

Nice restaurant in the middle of Nelson-Adkins. you order sandwiches and soups and the bring them to you. Staff was helpful and the service was prompt. I got a roast beef sandwich and it was good when I got the sauted onions in the bite. the soup was hot and spicy, delicious. Our other sandwich was a chicken salad. it was tasty? but the meat was a little dry.
