The food was great. Fish was on point crispy and flavorful. I ordered the rice,when I got the food, it looked different. Then I realized how they prepared the rice. It was good and I loved it. I’m writing to comment now because I just looked to see if they were open, but unfortunately, it’s after hours. Haven’t been in a few months. I was craving the fish and rice. Reading the comments, I feel like everyones taste buds are a little different and are used to the same old thing. Every business will not be the same as every other place. I like how they set themselves apart, preparing things. I was told to check them out and wasn’t disappointed at all. The 2 people working the day I went was on point as well. Been here a few times…the salmon bites are good..catfish is good.. Food could use less salt…love the homemade bbq sauce….these ppl are not all that friendly or welcoming.

Nice little place! One friendly guy working. Fast service! I had the fried catfish with fries and corn. The fish was very flavorful but could have been fried a tad bit longer! The fries and corn were yummy. I don’t usually go to super small places like this because there’s always risk of poor sanitation but it was clean and smelled good. I would go back.

Parking was a bit hectic but my food was worth it. If your not familiar with the area it is in the shopping center next door to Nipsey Hustles store( hence the parking situation) I had fried red snapper that was seasoned well and not dry. Fried shrimp fries and Mac salad and a sweet roll.

My order was completely messed up. I ordered grilled snapper w/garlic rice. Received fried snapper w/French fries. Also ordered fried catfish w/French fries. Received the garlic rice with this order. The coleslaw was old and you could see that when you opened the container. Order grilled asparagus and it wasn’t worth eating. The garlic butter rice was nothing but brown rice with no flavor. When I called the restaurant the person was apologetic. Want ever patronize this establishment again.

Shout out to Chris for making literally the best fish I’ve ever had seasoned to perfection. Flavor can’t even be compared to with any other fish. I haven’t had fried fish in 8 maybe 9 years. Cause I want fish not bread. It wasn’t over cooked. Damn all I can say is I wish we had brought 4 plates for the family it got a little ugly cause 2 plates simply wasn’t enough for my family lol. Chris NEEDS a raise. You brought delightful, tasty, yummy,mouth watering fish back to my house.
