TABU has all the makings of what should be a stellar restaurant since I love tacos and burgers. I got great vibes once we came inside because it’s quite small and homey, and you can tell it has a lot of locals. There’s not much seating around 12pm so get here early. I sat with my kids and ordered coke zeros for everyone. The problem with these — they go by the can and charge extra per can. For myself, I got a spicy chicken taco and the mac n’ cheese bbq taco (can’t remember the exact name but that’s what was in it). Both of these tacos had some great flavor but they were very small. I’m used to very filling tacos if they’re in the $4 price range. My kids got the chicken tenders, mac n’ cheese, and fries to share. The mac n’ cheese certainly was the highlight of these items once I had a nibble. The chicken tenders looked like they used to be frozen, something I could easily make at home for a couple bucks. The fries also may be frozen with not much flavor or tenderness. The worst part of this was we waited close to 45 minutes after we ordered to get our food. My kids started asking about the food which is a sure sign they’re hungry and it’s taking longer than expected. I get it, they’re busy and a local gem, but 45 minutes is just a long time and a deal breaker for me. I have to dock some stars just based on that alone. The waitress we had was nice so I tipped her well, but I don’t think we’ll be back. Just overall disappointed with such a hot spot.

Super delicious food! We ordered the carne Asada fries, carne asada tacos, and burgers. So juicy and flavorful! Definitely coming here again. It was super busy when we got there but it was worth the wait. Our server was so friendly!

Great burgers and the Boris chicken sandwich is awesome! The margaritas come in three flavors and are grey wine based and strong.. I can’t believe it nobody was in there on a Saturday. The food’s awesome staff is friendly and even the chips and salsa are good.

Foods always good. The shrimp tacos are the best but are $4.50 each and they are very small (street Taco size). This is a very small restaurant, quiet and quaint. The beer is cold and the michilada is not to bad. The service tends to be slow sometimes. I believe it’s a family owned placed so I cut them some slack.. There’s no free refills on drinks, everything is sold in the can. Foods fresh and always tasty. I would recommend this place if your coming bye.

Delicious tacos, savory burgers and that queso was on point! Peaceful atmosphere and family friendly. The kids had a blast with the blackboard and chalk.

I finally got to try this place. Got a weird combination of things but because it was my first time. So I got carne asada fries, Two mahi-mahi tacos and a side of Mac and cheese. I will say my first time trying the mahi mahi tacos that was delicious!! I would definitely recommend. I would also recommend the carne asada fries. The Mac and cheese was not the greatest. It wasn’t very cheesy but sometimes it what someone prefers. Definitely recommend this place. I also got all that for under $30 bucks good quality food at a good quality price.

Waitress was nice but very inattentive and. Had empty water glasses till I was done with the meal and she was never around to ask for refills. I would’ve also liked a larger portion of fries. The fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time and it was a shame there wasn’t enough. Other than that everything was delicious.

Good little bistro with beer and wine offerings. Very clean place with excellent service. Fresh -made food came out fast. Located right downtown off the square, walking distance to all the shops.

I came over to grab a bite while at Hot Nights Cool Tunes and after waiting for a few minutes and 1 more minute of not getting looked at for service, I just walked away hungry and disappointed and took my business somewhere else. I was completely ignored and they wasted my time. I won’t come back ever again when I come back for Hot Night Cool Tunes. The staff should take care of their customers. They know better.
