We’ve been here for 3 weeks and we leave on Monday. Such a shame we didn’t find this fantastic restaurant sooner. As my husband and I were finishing and after the lunch rush ended, an employee was sweeping up. My husband said how much we liked the place and how good the food was. We talked with her a while and it comes out that she’s the owner. The reason why I bring that up is, because I don’t see owners sweeping the floors. I believe her name is Christy (I hope I remembered right). We will be going there at least one more time, before Monday. Whatever you do when you go to Salmon Idaho, don’t miss out on the best hamburger, oh and fried pickles and tator tots. Love the place, love the food and we think Christy was Great!!!!!!

This place is legit! Hit this joint after a savage backpacking trip in the frank church and it was just what I needed – serious burgers, high quality ingredients, and overall a killer establishment. Can’t wait to be back.

Horrible experience will never be back or recommend to anyone especially with no accommodation for giving me a burger with mushrooms when I’m allergic and not caring or doing anything about it. No refund. No remake. No apology. Very disappointing.

Our order was wrong & my burger tasted off. Maybe it was the seasoning, but to me it tasted like the meat was about to go bad. My bread was also a little stale. It was highly recommended, so I was a little disappointed.

The food was delicious and well prepared, generous portions. They were busy but didn’t have to wait to long. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I’m from Denver and I loved the Savage Grill!! One of the highlights of my trip. Great food, people, and atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit Salmon again . I love this restaurant. Can’t say enough good things about it. It also has town history inside.

I’d go again. Good was fresh and tasty. Lots of options. Only complaint is that some of the menu prices weren’t accurate. When ordering, prices were higher than what was advertised.

Not seen online is the giant native caricature on the sign. There is nothing native american about the restaurant or its food. Standard burgers and fries. The overtly racist sign is just that – racist. Drop the caricature and keep the name. Simple solution.
